Despite attacks in the U.S. trying to undermine the military chain of command, Trump presses on to create a process for peace. Putin wants all of Ukraine, and no one but Trump, out of billions of people, have been able to get Putin to discuss peace. If any of Trump's critics can beat him to the punch now is the time and I would be thrilled to see peace achieved.

One of the lesser known features of authoritarian governments is the fracturing of the government into several factions that compete with each other so they don't threaten the leader.

One of the main reasons those governments are so inefficient.

I hope that instead of trying to undermine the President of the United States in brokering a successful peace agreement that Americans can get together to support peace. Putin does not want peace, he want Ukraine. He has seen before the undermining of U.S. resolve to stand up to dictators by working through the universities and American educational system. Putin has seen the weakness in the E. U. as well. By starting the process Trump can show the world Putin's true intentions.

It was Russia. Not America that invaded Ukraine. Russia is solely to blame. If I stab you in the eye it's not your friend's fault they weren't big and scary enough.
