Haven't you got that the wrong way around? Jesus came so that we could be "born again" into God's family. He was not born into your family, unless you can trace your ancestry to King David. Not sure what you mean by "the Right of Kings - perhaps you were thinking of a verse like this, written about Christians:

“and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him [be] glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (Re 1:6 NKJV)

Yes some are made priests, some are made kings, and very few are made priest-kings (pontifex maximus).
