Out of interest, why does it matter if the earth is round or flat?

Are we trying to ascertain biblical explanations versus man or are we just making a thread to pass the time?

Because it’s really ODD for people to think the earth is flat in this day and age.

No it hasn't. As I explained the only way you can see the entire 90 miles of road is if you are looking from a really high elevation, like filming with a drone. Otherwise your view of the road is stopped by the horizon which is the curve of the earth.
Both photos were taken from up high, but not high enough to show the entire road of bridge. Both photos demonstrated the limited view due to the drop caused by the earth's curvature. That's what is so stupid about the memes, they both prove the curvature of the earth.

Not really. Your explanation does not work. Perspective does not work that way. To make it simple the curvature drop of the earth is about 8 inches per mile. So in a 90 mile road that would be about 60 feet so it would be impossible to see the end of the road. In fact you can only see less than 10 miles.

Regardless, the fact that Earth is round is evidenced through so many different forms of observation from so many different things that it's nonsense to accept that the Earth is flat.
