Ah yes, wisdom. Revelation 13:18.
As an interesting logical exercise, I tend to agree with Isaac Newton.

What?As an interesting logical exercise, I tend to agree with Isaac Newton.

Although Latins are, definitely, the spawns of Satan, this solution does not result in a man, nor does it have any association with wisdom.
No understanding for you then.Ah, so at least you figured out the riddle. Now as for the proper interpretation of Revelation 13:18, methinks I don't care.
No understanding for you then.
What did I do wrong.Perhaps not. But I do know one thing, I value my ignorance far more than I'll ever value your understanding.
There are people who, instead of getting an honest job and provide something of value, seek employment in government offices or the like where they get leverage over the common man, who has to follow the common law, while they themselves are protected by their peers. So they will use every tool of lies and slander to get their way, or if you offend them in the least, and there is no one that holds them accountable because they keep each others backs. But it feels good knowing they will get their due. I used to think God was kind of harsh in creating a hell, but not in this case.I am wondering if the culture is what is causing peoples heart to grow corrupt on the inside while trying to present a polished and virtious image on the outside.
I think the current culture is ideal for promoting external images and narratives about morals and how woke one is. Celebs virtue signalling and people on social media shaming those who may have said the wrong thing. Bringing condemnation and severe judgements and no forgiveness.
The media age is primed for creating pharisees of all persuasions lol.
I am not so sure about anyone trying to present a polished and virtuous image on the outside. I would like to see at least more of that.I am wondering if the culture is what is causing peoples heart to grow corrupt on the inside while trying to present a polished and virtious image on the outside.
Giving tithes to the poor used to be a thing that you could do to appear virtuous before men, but it’s not like that anymore.I am not so sure about anyone trying to present a polished and virtuous image on the outside. I would like to see at least more of that.

I mean they are presenting a falsely polished and virtious image on the outside. We can notice how morality crept into politics and especially with identity politics. Identity politics promotes the idea that the outward appearence and associations are what make someone virtious. Rather than the individual.I am not so sure about anyone trying to present a polished and virtuous image on the outside. I would like to see at least more of that.
Christianity is so often reduced to little more than a revenge fantasy. But it feels good knowing they will get their due. I used to think God was kind of harsh in creating a hell, but not in this case.
That's selling it a bit short. It has at least three more facets.Christianity is so often reduced to little more than a revenge fantasy.
Go on.That's selling it a bit short. It has at least three more facets.
This is where I differ from most people, I don't think that people need to 'get their due'. I certainly feel no need for it, and I find it difficult to imagine how a merciful God would either, even in the name of justice. For me justice is something that victims seek... but truth be told, my need for justice pales in comparison to my need to be merciful. Perhaps God is different and He can hand out mercy and justice only as they're warranted... still, I can't help but hope that mercy prevails, not just for me, or you, or the righteous, but for everybody.
Here and now justice is necessary, and yet even here mercy seems the nobler course.
Since you asked. You came across as being egotistical and sanctimonious. As if you alone are privy to understanding that none of the rest of us will ever be capable. In and of itself that's a bit offensive, but I simply accept it as you being you, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
It does however make it very difficult to have a cordial conversation with you when my intelligence is continually being insulted. Not that my intelligence doesn't deserve to be insulted. But as I said that's just you being you, and if I'm offended by it that's my problem.
Oh, and please try to overlook any snarkiness that I may occasionally resort to. It's just me being me.
