You saw the discussion after the meeting. Do you know what conversations took place during the closed door meeting between Trump and Mamdami?

True, it was the discussion after the meeting but you can tell they both got on together well. The text of the exchange was already posted, and I've already said i was being facetious, but I posted the full video of the presser. It's at the 12:30 mark.

If Mamdani had groveled, Trump would be insulting him, as he did Elon when he said he could have gotten him to drop to his knees and beg. Currently though he is posting bromance pics on his truth social account.

Don't get me wrong, Trump WILL eventually insult him, but right now they are still in their honeymoon phase.

Two politicians from opposite sides get together - even though they exchanged barbs - they come out of a meeting citing commonalities and are polite to each other.

The political atmosphere is so toxic, nothing good can be stated, just jabs and toxic barbs. From both sides - it is a sad statement on the political atmosphere.

Yeah. Mandami came out of the meeting looking like Trump's marionette play toy. "My good little communist mayor. Guys, don't you just love my new little play thing? You wouldn't believe what tricks I can make him do. All I have to do is just wave some money in front of him and I can have him eating out of my hand. Oh yes. He is going to be a great mayor, as long as he does exactly what he is told." That is the picture I see. I see Trump looking at Mandami like a child getting their favorite toy on Christmas.

There in lies the problem. The GOP was ready to run every political race in every state through "what about Mamdani".
