Recall the Musk political rally where it was announced all these impending arrest....and then crickets. There were more costs to be saved if they just kept the department IGs in place and followed their cost saving assessments. Instead they hired kids who didn't know you know what from apple butter. And now what little savings they found will cost the tax payers all the lawsuit of all those wrongly employees fired.

Private sector and public sector are two different things. Both Trump and Musk are where they are to a large degree given the apparatus that exists in the public system. Bankruptcy protections for one, and government policy and contracts for the other.
