Maybe you're unaware of a lot of posts that have argued that hey, it really isn't much of a deal. Just knocking down a car port or a couple of walls. Because, you know, Trump said the new structure wouldn't impact any of the existing buildings. Then, when pictures are posted of the complete East Wing having been demolished it's then that it becomes that nothing burger.

What are the options? Admit that Trump lied yet again? I swear, if you asked a lot of people if the new structure was acceptable if it didn't impact any existing building, as he said it wouldn't, then you'd be hard pressed to get a definite answer because we all know he lies and those peopledon't want to go on record disagreeing with anything he does.

Frankly, I find that quite pathetic. But we see it constantly.

I don't like it when people lie. I understand that politicians 'avoid the truth' sometimes. And tend to bend it a little on ocassions. But Trump doesn't do that. And you know that as well as do. He treats us like morons. He lies as naturally as he breathes. He simply can't be trusted. Now if he was the guy who ran the local pub or someone in a local council position then I could care less. But he isn't, is he.

And this isn't like I'm taking a passing interest in some failed developer who has happened to get people to vote him into office. I've been following US politics since JFK. And this surely doesn't come as a surprise to you that what this man does often has a direct affect on my country and me on me personally. So these schoolyard level whinges like 'Hey, go hug a kangaroo' deserve to stay in the schoolyard where they belong.

Let's face it, taking afront when someone points out that Trump lies constantly and is a disgrace to the office of POTUS when almost everything he does is confirmation of those facts is plainly excusing what he does.

This business of the East Wing is a sideshow. His petty use of tariffs, his blatant disregard of freedom of speech, his quotas on illegal immigrants, his complete disregard for human life in executing boat loads of people...the list goes on and on and on.

The East Wing and his gold plated ballroom? That's a little light relief, my friend. What he's doing to the reputation of your country should concern you. That it doesn't concern you and so many others is of even greater concern.
