What I meant in my post was that the picture on the right showed the sun shining on to water, whereas the picture on the left showed a light shining on to a ball with no water on it. I believe that makes the difference in the way the light is reflected on the two.

So why did you quote the verse to support your idea that Antarctica is surrounded by a huge ice-wall? If, as we seem to agree, the verse is about all seas, why (in your view) is there an ice wall dividing the sea from Antarctica, but not a wall dividing the sea from Wales, or from South Devon, where I am?

I think Apple Sky believes the earth to be a flat disc. Isn't the circumference of a disc pi times twice the radius? I seem to remember the formula: C = 2 pi r (can't find the pi symbol!)

Because the Antarctica ice walls are the only thing that stops the seas gushing forth, they are also what are known in Scripture, as the doors.

Job 38:8

Sure but it should also give you an idea that some things in scripture are allegorical and not literal. In real life 12 oxen could not carry over 85,000 pounds worth of water plus the weight of the materials.
