What are you referring to? Are you referring to the political prosecution he faced in a kangaroo court? If so, I don't care about that.Since when does Trump observe the law?
Quite a large number of people, including some federal judges, are of the opinion that he is not enforcing the law as he should. What are you referring to? Are you referring to the political prosecution he faced in a kangaroo court? If so, I don't care about that.
His current administration is enforcing the law as they should.
What exactly is your point with this statement?
Really? Then I guess the next rally should be called "No Kings--No Kangaroo Courts!" Let those judges read the Constitution.Quite a large number of people, including some federal judges, are of the opinion that he is not enforcing the law as he should.
The narratives promoted by these protestors—such as claims of authoritarianism or dictatorship—may not have merit, yet millions of Americans subscribe to these perspectives. In a democracy, we do not have the privilege of disregarding public opinion based on personal beliefs. Within a democratic framework, there are two primary approaches: one can work to change public opinion or choose to align with it. Merely criticizing or dismissing public sentiment is generally considered unwise in a democratic society.Hmmm... the protests are still protesting things that aren't happening, rendering them moot. And the fact that rhey are still going to be able to do them, is proof of that, so I don't know. I think I've been clear as well and whatever your claim is, is also moot.
The Demeocratic Party has lost a lot of support. The No Kings protests are emblematic of the radical left. In watching videos of the protests in is very apparent that they are do radicalized that they would NEVER give support to Republicans No matter what they did. This is the Democratic Party today. This is who has taken over the party. Mid terms are historically a loss for the Party in power. Its happened to nearly every president. I don't think thats going to happen this time. As long as the economy stays relatively stable and doesn't suddenly tank i think the Republicans keep the house and the senate. Only 27% of Americans have a positive view of Democrats. The narratives promoted by these protestors—such as claims of authoritarianism or dictatorship—may not have merit, yet millions of Americans subscribe to these perspectives. Regardless of one's position on these protesters, it is clear that millions of Americans are participating in this movement and intend to voice their dissatisfaction at the polls in thirteen months. Historical trends suggest that when public sentiment is strongly reflected, significant political shifts can occur. For instance, in 2018, a comparatively smaller protest group contributed to Democrats gaining 40 seats in the U.S. Congress. Similarly, the Tea Party movement in 2010, which was notably smaller than the current No King movement, resulted in a 60-seat shift and led to Republican control of Congress for the 2011 legislative year. In 2006, the anti-war movement—less prominent than the No King movement—also shifted Congressional power toward the Democrats. These events illustrate how changes in public opinion have influenced legislative outcomes in recent American history.
Republicans and the White House might label protesters as anti-American, as Speaker Johnson did, then highlight their policy achievements on Fox News to supporters or adjust policies to increase among some Americans who are not part of MAGA movement so there are more then 40% American vote for republican on mid-term. Ultimately, for Republicans to retain control of Congress, they will need broader support beyond their core MAGA base.
Lol. They werent all Americans. And they were not doing anything but being silly. If they really were defending democracy then they would be marching in support of Trump removing illegals because thats part of our democracy as the laws were democratically passed.Johnson obviously hates the 7 million American patriots who defended democracy.
He's the hater.
The use of terms such as "radical left," "Marxist," or "anti-American" by certain members of the Republican Party to describe the Democratic Party does not change the fundamental nature of the Democratic Party. Likewise, when some liberals refer to the Republican Party using labels such as "racist," "fascist," "authoritarian," or "dictatorial," these characterizations do not alter its core identity. The Demeocratic Party has lost a lot of support. Normal Americans do not support the radical left. Democrats are losing voters.
New York Times Report Is Horrifying News For Democratic Party
So unless they make a change ir something happens to the economy the Democrats are going to in trouble the next election. And the longer the Democrats keep the government shut down they will see a decline in support.
They were my friends and neighbors, and I have joined them on occasion. Couldn't be there but they told me the spirit was tremendous. Knowing the level of growing support they had was so encouraging.Lol. They werent all Americans. And they were not doing anything but being silly. Trump didnt get where he's at by alienating his supporters. I think they like that sort of thing.....And if virtual, verbal, and written feces are the best response they can give, I am optimistic about who will get dumped next November.
Trump is still okay with his followers, which imho does note reflect well on them. His approval though, has really dropped with Independents and of course, is terrible with Democrats.Trump didnt get where he's at by alienating his supporters. I think they like that sort of thing.
Alaskans came out to protest the Trump administration as part of the nationwide No Kings protest on Saturday, with speeches, songs, and increasingly creative flair — signs, slogans, and costumes, some as inflatable animals like eagles and polar bears.
In downtown Anchorage, protesters filled Town Square Park, and the crowd spilled over to line W 5th and W 6th avenues, where they waved signs and passing cars honked in support.
“It’s a matter of we are losing our rights,” said Keri Lord of Anchorage, dressed in a long cape and crown for the no kings theme. “And we are headed towards fascism, and it needs to stop now.”

Esper said he and other top officials were caught off guard by Trump's reaction to the unrest in the summer of 2020.
"We reached that point in the conversation where he looked frankly at [Joint Chiefs of Staff] Gen. [Mark] Milley and said, 'Can't you just shoot them, just shoot them in the legs or something?' ... It was a suggestion and a formal question. And we were just all taken aback at that moment as this issue just hung very heavily in the air."
