Such a tragic situation created by letting in ten to twenty million people, so many unvetted, in one presidential term. So many resources wasted because ambitious people decided to break the laws of our country. Those resources could have been used to bring in more who love America in legally.

President Trump has urged those here illegally to self-deport and the offer still stands to take $1000 each and free transportation. Roughly 2 million people have peaceably done so. Once outside the country they can respect our country and the legal process and legally apply to become American citizens. President Trump and many many MAGA supporters have urged that the violent rhetoric stop. It has not.

Tragically those with political ambitions exploited immigrants for their own purposes. Actually immigration law is complex and your statement is not accurate. There is a difference as to how an unlawful single stay of 180 days but less than 1 year is handled under the law and an unlawful single stay longer than that. There are exceptions. Certainly Congress can adjust the law. I think those who have applied lawfully should be considered ahead of those who broke the law, and those who self-deport ahead of those who don't.

For those folks here illegally. Yet essential to our economy, aka essential workers. Just ask the farmers and those in need of labor how essential they are. For those who have committed no crimes, why not just executive order a pathway to citizenship?
