She also alleged that her purpose was humanitarian. Interesting because her boat had no humanitarian supplies.

From what I'm reading:
100 kg (220 lb) of baby formula, 100 kg (220 lb) of flour, 250 kg (550 lb) of rice, diapers, and crutches.

So basically a modest sized mini-van worth of cheap supplies...

Greta and her vanity projects seem to have an opposite effect on the causes she likes to champion (by making people take the causes less seriously)

I lol’ed when she was walking in the airport last time she got sent back from one of her escapades and she had her hands behind her back as if she was handcuffed. She is so dramatic. She should have been a d-list actress.

Either way, it still seems like this was a vanity project "for show".

40 unarmed sailboats thought they were somehow going to sneak past one of the most sophisticated militaries in the world into an active combat zone?

I'm saying this as a someone who's revised their viewpoints and become much more "Israel-critical" over the past 3 months -- "Professional protestors" and "media harlots" need to stay way from this situation and not do stupid stuff to "prove some sort of point". It delegitimizes real criticisms.

And while I'm not going to download a file from an unfamiliar google drive link, if the load of supplies is as big as your claiming, that means they wasted other peoples' money and resources as well that could've been used for other more realistic endeavors.

If I said "I'm going to try to sneak canned food and medicine into North Korea by way of 40 sailboats, you want to chip in?" would you do it, or would that charity be put to better use domestically or some other international effort that had better than a 0.000000001% chance of success?

She's the embodiment of what happens when someone becomes a full-time protestor with no real prospects. Having to bounce from cause to cause to try to stay relevant.

I don't fault her entirely for that...

It would seem to follow the pattern of how a lot of kids turn out when their parents are both actors/entertainers.
(which makes sense... when money is not an issue, and your parents are connected to other well-to-do famous people, impassioned youth can devote their time to things other than vocational endeavors)
