CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Taking over a city is really easy for foreigners, muslims and other parts of "them". They just have to say it and it becomes truth.
But don't worry. All it needs for people on the right wing to "take back a city" is to stand somewhere in the middle with flags. A group of 20 suffices.

A registered Republican is a registered Republican.
Except there was no violence by the left that day. But even if I give you that one, that's 50/50 on the Trump cases. Looking at Sept 10, you had the other school shooting by a right-wing shooter with twice as many victims as the Kirk shooting.
Your math doesn't math. In the above examples you had four victims by the right, and one by the left (Kirk).

I disagree; those that make transphobic statements are called out for making transphobic statements. Do you consider this, making transphobic statements, to be a conservative thing to do?
If the LBGT agenda is to treat people with respect and to give all equal rights despite their sexual orientation, then speaking against that might very well be homophobic speech, but I don't see that as conservative (see Log Cabin Republicans).
Yeah, that would be name-calling.
When it is homophobic or transphobic - and let's throw in misogynistic for good measure - then why should it not be pointed out as being such? Calling out a particular statement is not labeling the entire group the person who made such a statement identifies with; it is not even labeling the person who makes such declarations.
