  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes he's party to a lot of irony sarcasm and ruefulness.

I wonder what the sound would be like if actually laughed. Not ironic smirking but laughter. Probably no one knows.
I don't know what your post is saying.

It was a lovely service. Thank you for sharing the stream here.

Have you been going to church yourself?
Did you see how many people gave their lives to Christ after Charlie's pastor shared the gospel?

He's hilarious when he trolls you guys and gets reactions like
I seem to remember a few people crying in the streets after Trump lost, and I’ll admit I found it pretty funny too.

Glory to God! There must have been at least a thousand people saved that day.
Here’s guessing the majority were already Christian and this was simply preaching to the choir.

It is rather odd that a Christian would be so pessimistic at the thought of people getting saved.

Or could have been staged.
I am curious as to who these mastermind organizers are who are able to stage all these incidents that make conservatives look good, or make liberals look bad. Maybe it is the illuminati?

Altar calls are always a bit suspect in terms of their efficacy and the level of commitment of the respondents. Add in the propensity for the folks in this crowd to grandstand and use religious displays as a form of virtue signaling, and… yeah.

But OTOH, who among us could listen to Stephen Miller’s impassioned description of his once-dormant dragon awakening to vanquish his foes and not feel blanketed in the warm love of Jesus? His repeated claims that we’ve created nothing just reinforced how much we need to not rely on ourselves but on the power found through faith in Christ.

Human psychology is an odd thing. Seems like no matter what, Dems take the blame while Republicans succeed in pointing the finger.

Really? Christians on here make judgements about people’s salvation all the time.

Really, though, I’m not pessimistic about salvation, just dubious of the claim that event attracted people who weren’t already Christians to begin with. It’s like going to a football game and marveling at the home team’s popularity.
