I won't be watching either.
I don't know how it will be handled, if they'll give him free rein to say whatever he wants or if he was given a "talking to".
If I were them, I would tell my employee that sure they have freedom of speech, but they need to be respectful when talking about a death and not try to start something in making it political, if they can't do that, then they need to skip mentioning it.
That would be my guardrail for them

I don't thik Kimmel is funny at all. It isn't a free speech issue, but the celebrity kickback at this I think also caused them to reconsider letting him go. One thing some of the Left leaning are good at doing is FORCING things on people, society, businesses, etc. If they didn't have force to use they wouldn't seem as strong. Seem being the key word. I think they are a very weak party in some ways. This current day Left leaning party isn't the same as the classic Left leaning party.
He may double down or he may decide to ignore it all and let what he said stand without further comment.
As soon as I heard Kirk had been shot...after getting over the initial shock...I knew it had to have been done by a Left leaner.
I'm not maga nor did I vote for Trump or Harris, but I'm glad his family turned the murderer in.
The Left leaning love to say the Right leaning live in an echo chamber, but most of us don't. I think the Left are the winners of that prize!

He was only on suspension. So it's not a matter of ABC taking him back, or him winning some sort of victory, or the plans of Trump's autocracy being defeated. It just means the suspension is over.

However if Jimmy Kimmel Live ends up being as unpopular as Bud Light, then it's probably going to end up getting canceled.

Then again what happened might end up boosting ratings, in which case the suspension would basically end up as a publicity stunt. It wouldn't be surprising if that turns out to be the case with Stephen Colbert's show. CBS ends up saying there was just so much demand to keep Colbert going, they changed their minds.
