And it's reverberating far outside of America, too.The murder of Charlie Kirk has dealt a substantial blow the the liberal leftist woke machine, by those who are a part of that machine. Massive self-sabotage.

It's a garbage take, because the "DEI" initiative in diversifying the pilot ranks was in getting more women and minorities into flight school, not in lowering the standards for them once they got there.Of course I've heard the clip. Why else would I be talking about it? If you can't figure it out, what he was saying was if there were no such thing as affirmative action, I would not wonder about a black pilot. But because of affirmative action, it can be legitimate to have a concern.
It's cued up:
You guys are celebrating having canceled a show no one was even watching?
Is it a "take" when someone asks you to clarify what you meant and you do so?It's a garbage take, because the "DEI" initiative in diversifying the pilot ranks was in getting more women and minorities into flight school, not in lowering the standards for them once they got there.
But hey, whatever is useful in stoking white resentment, eh?
Technically he isn't cancelled, according to ABC. This is "pre-empted indefinitely culture".You guys are celebrating having canceled a show no one was even watching?

I don't particularly care about any of them, but there's a pretty significant different between what Carlson did that led to his firing and what Kimmel did. It's hard to feel bad for Jimmy.
While I thought he was a talented comedian, he was the same one who was pretty joyful about someone else getting fired for expressing differing viewpoints.
(ignore the commentary in-between from whoever that youtuber is, this isn't an endorsement of his content, this was simply the only clip I was able to find showing when Jimmy laughed about Tucker getting fired)
No it cannot.Of course I've heard the clip. Why else would I be talking about it? If you can't figure it out, what he was saying was if there were no such thing as affirmative action, I would not wonder about a black pilot. But because of affirmative action, it can be legitimate to have a concern.
So you agree with me.No it cannot.
It allows you to feel like yo ucan.
The UNDERLYING ASSUMPTIONs are two fold are
1) that black people could NOT get that job on their own capacity.
2) That the company has NO interest in hiring properly qualified individuals.
It's hard to decide which take is hotter.
Why do you keep harping on black people? No it cannot.
It allows you to feel like yo ucan.

The D in DEI is for diversity, not black people.Still having trouble reading eh?

I hear Stephen King got roasted to death on X for posting a rotten lie about Charlie Kirk. One after the other making a pariah of themselves and their party.
I see both as having fanned the flames of political turmoil.
Tucker Carlson entertained false election theories that whipped people into a frenzy
Jimmy was entertaining false theories about the Kirk shooter being a "maga guy who killed one of their own"
But on a personal level, once someone has made fun of, or celebrated, someone else getting fired for viewpoints that aren't popular with the "in-power" party, then I can't feel too sorry for them when the same thing happens to them.
chair of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Brendan Carr said ... that the FCC was “going to have remedies that we can look at.” “Frankly, when you see stuff like this,” he said, “I mean look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way.
Carr explained: "There's actions we can take on licensed broadcasters. ... 'We're not gonna run Kimmel anymore...because we licensed broadcasters are running the possibility of fines or license revocation from the FCC.'"
Amazing that we’re at the point of demanding late-night comedians adhere to “the ‘official’ truth” while letting National leaders lie as much as they’d like. From what I'm hearing: He was also lying to his audience, sticking to the narrative that Tyler was MAGA. The FCC is considering pulling ABC's FCC license. My guess is they didn't want to lose their license, so they pulled the plug to save their network.
