  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

(Declines to tell us what's horrible about the "trangender agenda")

For reasons we all understand.

Perhaps this text chat revealed by the FBI will be understood.
Let's see...
"if a transgendered person has a partner who engages in political violence then it reflects on transgendered people as a group."
"if a non-transgendered person has a partner who engages in political violence, then it reflects on non-transgendered people as a group."

If one believes one of these statements, but not the other, then one's hang-up is transgender, not political violence. Which is quite a different issue. Particularly when you look at the number of non-transgendered people who have committed political violence.

The following is a summary of the immoral impact of the transgender agenda:

* **Gender Identity vs. Biological Sex:** A central point of criticism revolves around the distinction between gender identity (a person's internal sense of self) and biological sex (the physical and genetic characteristics a person is born with). Critics argue that the movement seeks to redefine gender as a fluid concept separate from biological reality, which they believe could negatively impact societal norms.
* **Impact on Women's Spaces:** Concerns are frequently raised about the safety and privacy of spaces traditionally designated for women, such as bathrooms, locker rooms, and sports, if transgender women are allowed to use them.
* **Medical Transition for Minors:** There is significant debate about the provision of gender-affirming care, such as puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries, to minors. Critics express concern that these medical interventions are irreversible and may be pursued by young people who are not mature enough to make such life-altering decisions.
* **Freedom of Speech and Religion:** Some critics argue that the movement infringes upon the right to free speech and religious beliefs by requiring individuals and institutions to use a person's preferred pronouns or to accept a person's gender identity, even if it conflicts with their personal convictions.

Given the harassment that transgender people have experienced, it seems that transgendered people's freedoms of speech and religion have been violated more frequently and more strongly than anyone else. Note that the Bud Light hysteria made it very clear that there's a lot of people with emotional problems with transgendered people. And I'm not unsympathetic. But those people were doing exactly what they accuse transgendered people of doing.

And I don't know why it's horrible to allow people to be what they want to be as long as they don't force it on anyone else.

Not everyone who is troubled by transgendered people has emotional problems, of course. Some merely have religious objections. Me for example. But those with such objections generally aren't exhibiting the kind of behavior we see from the relatively few who are out there screaming about it.

BREAKING: MAGA Attorney General Pam Bondi gets exposed in a massive scandal as her Justice Department is caught covertly deleting a study proving that right-wing violence poses a "far" greater threat than left-wing extremism.
MAGA is bending to reality to fit their twisted worldview...
The study in question is from 2024 and was conducted by the National Institute of Justice, a research wing of the DOJ's Office of Justice Programs. It found that “militant, nationalistic, white supremacist violent extremism has increased in the United States."
"In fact, the number of far-right attacks continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism,” it read. “Since 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists.”
It adds that "no single profile accurately captures the characteristics of the individuals who commit extremist and hate crimes."
The study was visible on the Office of Justice Programs until Friday, when it was suddenly replaced with an error message stating that "The requested page could not be found.” Friday was also when the right-wing mania over the Charlie Kirk killing reached a fever pitch, with MAGA figures desperately trying to find a connection between his horrific murder and the "radical left."

Bondi had the data removed. Politically incorrect, you know.

But it was too late....

One big difference is that normal people (those who accept the sex they are born as) don't claim it as "who they are", and base their arguments and politics around it. When transsexuals engage in mass shootings and assassinations, it is based on "who they are" as transsexuals, or the partner of such people and therefore part of that group. They target those who oppose perverted sexual lifestyles and bodily mutilations of children. That's why their targets have been school children, churches, and conservative speakers. All while claiming they just want to be left alone in the privacy of their own bedroom.
Frankly, I'd be fine with that. But when they come out with their rifles and start murdering innocent people, they shouldn't expect much sympathy.

Balderdash. The transgenderism agenda comes from the far left.
Bruce Jenner/ Caitlyn Jenner is a Transgender female. Republican I know a gay people that are Trump supporters. I'm not sure why they voted for a Man, that doesn't respect them.

Jenner doesn't support the transgendering of kids. But, the Democratic Party does.

And Charlie Kirk supported conservatives regardless of their sexual preferences. But look at what that got him.

Perhaps they disagreed with the strident leftist advocacy of some of the groups, that's why Trump got elected. Let me provide a couple of examples. The radical view is that children should not be "outed" to family members if they wish to be transitioned, parents see this (as does Trump) as an attack on parental rights. Drag queen shows for children are seen by the radical left as exposing children to the real world, whereas many people see that as sexually grooming the kids. Trump and conservatives have just as much respect or more for the rights of everyone, they simply have a different viewpoint.

Oh, sure they do. They just do it in a way that seems more normal and acceptable to you, such that you don't really notice it.

For example:
  • I don't think I've been in a church that didn't have at least some kind of gender-based restrictions on who could serve in what roles.
  • Every church I've ever attended has had some form of meeting or ministry devoted to serving the genders separately.
  • There has long been a debate about what roles in the military should be open to women. The current SECDEF, Pete Hegseth, has publicly said that he thinks they should be restricted more than they are now.
  • The whole "tradwife" movement is based largely around gender roles and "traditional" gender identity. Not to harp on Hegseth, but his church is a big proponent of this movement and he's publicly pushed its agenda.

I'd also add that there's an argument to be made that our industrial and labor policy is based, at least partially, on gender and unspoken preferences and identities around it. We give a lot of attention to manufacturing and resource extraction, even though those industries have become automated and require much less labor per unit of output than in the past. OTOH, we give very little attention to healthcare work, which is hugely labor intensive, despite it having completely overtaken manufacturing and/or resource extraction in a lot of areas. Why the disparity? I can't say for certain, but it's not hard to look at the gender makeup of the people who work in those industries, the gender makeup of the politicians focusing that attention, and draw some inferences.

Because gender-based crime doesn't happen among cis-gendered people?

Those are examples of larger-scale incidents. History is chock full of attacks on individual women for being women.
