Which is a good reason for him to be careful about what he says. Nearly all other politicians are. They know how they can get misunderstood and their words twisted.

Trumps's words, as posted by the OP, are extremely inflammatory and the last thing your country needs at this time. Something like "We should come together at this sad time, and learn to debate our differences peacefully. Violence is never acceptable." would be more Presidential.

I've known them to take the president's words out of context before. Like they're famous for it by now. That's why I usually want to watch a video that has his full speech at times like this, to get the full context.

Trump is just a flawed flash in the pan human like the rest of us. I think back to say Ronald Reagan who was president 37 years ago. And how he along with most of those involved with him politically, are long gone along with that whole era. Here today, gone tomorrow.

Reagan still has many followers but yes they are dying out. Trump has them too, but I imagine we will know if Trump has the same staying power by his overall success. If things go well, I suppose even his sons could run for President someday. If there are serious policy failures as iseems likely, what will fill the void for the GOP? Those who follow Trump and are close will be less attractive than Quayle. (maybe Rubio is the exception?) Rand Paul is one alternative that actually does stand up for his principled, libertarian beliefs.

As a sidenote: Trump looked plenty healthy standing outside for over 4 hours answering questions.

Okay, so make your point. What did Trump say, in context, that changes the meaning behind the quoted words? Did he blame the left for the killing of Kirk or didn't he? Was there some other words that, in context, put forth a more measured take on the event?

Show your work, don't just blame the media as a knee-jerk reaction.
