I think you missed this.

You don’t show how it leads to destruction. Recognizing our humility and asking another to pray for us is not worship. God did not tell us to look only at Him and ignore everyone else. He wants us to be one as He and the Father are one
We do not blind our eyes to others as we worship God

If it is wrong for us to pray for eachother and their are no intercessions, why would Paul begin his “one mediator” paragraph with this sentence?

1 I desire therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men

Men offering prayers, supplications, and oh my intercessions for other men?!? Would he not have admonished them to stop that if the “one mediator” verse means what you say it does?

The Body of Christ is a communion of saints, we are all together and worship God both with and for eachother. We are not a bunch of little napoleons that go around telling others to stop thst and pray to Jesus only and forget everyone else
It would be good if you studied Catholic prayer before accusing us of leading others to destruction. Mary says my soul magnifies the Lord, not pray to me instead of God. Contemplation of Mary increases our worship of God not diminish it

The change happened after Scripture just as we were warned Acts 20:29. You keep pointing to what man says, but we need to go back to the Bible what does God say. The popular choices of man is of no consequence to God. He destroyed the entire earth but 8 people before. God does not judge us based on what other people are doing. He never told us to take the popular path that the majority take.

The Bible warned of a falling away. It was the same theme over and over again in Scripture. You keep using your reasoning over a thus saith the Lord. The Sabbath is a commandment of God, no different than the commandment to not worship others gods, or steal from our neighbor. All came from the same unit Exo 34:28 Deut 4:13 written by the finger of God, His holy and righteous Testimony Exo 31:18 never called the Ten suggestions or pluck out or edit the ones we don’t agree with. God could not have made His will any clearer Psa 40:8 , spoken by God, written by God.

Sadly most choose to follow your church traditions over keeping one of the commandments of God. Something Jesus warned us about Mat 15:3-14 Mark 7:7-12

No one accused anyone of anything, just wanting to shine the light back on God's word that many have turned from as Scripture predicted. God is the judge of all things and nothing we can hide from Him Ecc 12:13-14 Rev 14:7 If we keep looking at man as the standard and not God, its not the way. John 14:6

Paul was not referring to obeying God's commandments through love and faith as bewitching anyone. John 14:15 Exo 20:6 Rev 14:12 Another sadly misinterpreted Scripture. Paul is hard to understand, 2 Peter 3:16 but a main principle people seem to misunderstand is that Paul never came after the death of Jesus to undo the foundation set by Jesus Christ's life, teachings and example, nor did the disciples. Mat 28:18-20.

German Catholic bishops are not "Cafeteria Catholics". They are applying Catholic ethics, sensitive to their pastoral context.

Roman Catholic ethics preclude homosexual marriage and classify homosexual behavior as intrinsically disordered. The Orthodox Church has no active diocesan bishops that publicly support a change in our doctrine, which like that of the RCC, is immutable. It is therefore impossible to support the German bishops, because what they are doing risks causing a schism that would severely harm the Roman church, like those schisms that have devastated the mainline churches, which is why Pope Francis did not accommodate their desire, and hopefully Pope Leo XIV will take more definitive action to put an end to the question of synodality. Ideally I think Bishop Athanasius Schneider would make a superb Archbishop of Cologne (he is of the ethnic German population in Kazakhstan, who willingly remain in Kazakhstan for the time being but who do have the ability to return to Germany according to the Basic Law.

I am a Messianic Christian and have written about it on other threads. I'm sorry for the confusion. I just double checked my profile and I did write "Messianic Christian," but clicking on my avatar will only show "Messianic."

Ah, forgive me, I have never heard of Messianic Christians - by the way you are aware the words Messianic and Christian are technically synonymous, from a syntactic perspective?

I have had many family members like that. I do not know much about Orthodox Catholics, but I am surrounded by Roman Catholics.

Well, I don’t know your family, so I can’t comment, except to say that poor catechism is a problem, but I wouldn’t accuse any Roman Catholics I’ve encountered of crypto-Paganism, with the exception of those who engage in “folk Catholiciism” involving participating in cults not sanctioned by the Roman Catholic Church but rather opposed by it, for example, some Mexican Catholics and the Santa Muerte cult, which the RCC has rightly condemned. Another example would be Catholics who participate in certain organizations of a religious nature in violation of church policies, for example, Continental European freemasonry (I don’t know if this is the case in North America and England because of the prohibition they have on admitting atheists and discussing religion and politics, but it is a known fact that Continental Freemasons in lodges associated with the Grand Orient de France have conspired against the Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. The most infamous of these lodges, “Propaganda Due” (meaning Propaganda number two) in Rome had become irregular by the time of its grave misconduct, but I think the Church is right to prohibit membership in Continental Freemasonry and should also disallow it in English and American freemasonry at least unless the Masons are willing to provide certain … assurances and clarifications, since right now it has the appearance of being a religious organization.

I would also note it seems strange so many people attack the Roman Church and accuse it of sinister things without mentioning sinister anti-Catholic societies like the Orange Lodges and Black Lodges in Ireland, and the Order of the Pug, among other things.

And if we look at the French Revolution, the Roman Church was on the side of the angels, experiencing persecution from the French state some forms of which even occur in the Fifth Republic, such as state ownership of all the churches, that mirrored the later persecution of the Orthodox by the Communists in the Soviet Union and elsewhere, who regarded the French Revolution as an inspiration (to the extent the phrase “Thermidorean Reactionary” was used as a criticism of those who wished to moderate communist economic policies.
