I’m sorry but I don’t see where you being a teacher and an ICE agent have equal levels of danger. Hopefully none of the kids that you teach are possible criminals or gang members. And hopefully you don’t have a bunch of lunatic activists trying to dox you to those very criminals and gang members.

I taught at a university for a bit and always guarded my information. No reason to expose me and my family to some body that I failed or just didn’t like something I said. Those dangers are very real.

I work in academia, and I'm perplexed. When performing a duty as a public official, which grading students (as in failing someone) is seen as where I live, it is a matter of public record who I am. I even have an open door policy, if the classroom isn't full anybody can do a walk-in. But they can't write the exams or attend labs.

Do you seriously think that ICE's job is EASIER now that they are all covered up? FRankly, they are lucky they are not getting shot. If someone came into my house without any identifier threatenning me, I'd feel 100% justified in shooting them. You know how easy it is to just say "This is Ice" and then dress up like them? AND in unmarked cars?
