Yes, I agree many believers look to the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and try to keep the laws there.

However, I believe the Apostle Paul was talking to his disciples in Corinth (1 Cor. 11: 1) and getting them to imitate him as he imitates Christ. I would not say that is for us, for we are to look to the Lord,

`...looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith....` (Heb. 12: 2)

OK. I do look to what Paul went through and the revelation he gave by the Head, Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, but mainly I think upon the Lord Jesus Christ.
