  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Your mother is a demographic group? Interesting.
She is in the demographic of toxic liberal women who's poor choices left her divorced multiple times, incapable of self-awareness and ownership for her actions, a deep rooted bitterness for men, and uses every opportunity seek attention by playing the victim. But she is my mother and I love her.

Wow. How you write about people you don’t love must be a real hoot. Gives me a lot of insight on your thought process and beliefs, though.

Why would it be if they are willing to take them?
Is Trump paying for people to take them. Because he paid for them to be locked up in El Salvador.

The U.S. has been quite accommodating to Mr. Garcia and I am so happy this matter has been settled. While I have been to Africa I have never been to Eswanti, they have a nice temperate climate there.
Alledged gang member. To call him a MS-13 gang member is incorrect and against forum rules.

It would be handing their problem back to them.
That would be understandable if he was being deported to El Salvador, but to deport him to a country on another continent from which he did not come? I do not see how that is handing their problem back to them.

He was sent to El Salvador but liberal judges wanted him back and the Trump administration complied. Garcia then provided a list of 22 countries he does not want to be sent to and the Trump administration, although they were not under any obligation to do so, complied with Garcia's wishes.

The goal here is to save as many victims in the U.S. as possible and such matters use up resources, so it is a practical solution.

The U.S. has been quite accommodating to Mr. Garcia and I am so happy this matter has been settled.

The Executive branch
- disobeyed the orders of a Federal Judge.
- admistted a mistake had been made
- then promplty doubled down claiming they had no control over the government of El. Salvador
- complied when the USSC ordered his return. ( unamious decision from what you dub "liberal justices").
- only to make up federal charges without evidence or witnesses
- tried to get Garcia to admit guilt to the said charges for his deportation to Costa Rica....else....

drum roll -
Send him to an African country.

The matter is not settled....though it could have been had the government simply complied with the judge's first order.

So again, as far as any crimes he's committed, he gets off completely free. Do you think that sends the wrong message? I'm curious as to how you see it.

He was deported to El Slavador, but we all know how the left felt about that. So blame democrats for that.

He's already served some time imprisoned, deportation sends the right message.

The message being that if you commit crimes (as you seem to want to insist that he has) then the only punishment they'll get is being sent home after spending some time in lock up while your government fights court orders.

From here: Kilmar Abrego Garcia and MS-13: What is alleged and what we know

'On 15 April, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt also accused Mr Abrego Garcia of involvement in human trafficking.'

And the White House accused him of being a terrorist:

'a (member of a) designated foreign terrorist organisation...'

And from here: Trump Promises to Militarize Police, Reincarcerate Thousands, and Expand Death Penalty | ACLU

'Donald Trump has long identified himself as the candidate of “law and orderbut, during the Trump administration, “law and order” translated to a severe approach to criminal punishment and policing that failed to make us safer.'

So you deal drugs, weapons, you're a member of a terrorist organisation, you've been accused of human trafficking and what does Trump do? Nothing more than the equivalent of sending the guy to his room! What an absolute farce this government is. What an absolute joke are their views on crime. What an undeniable joke is the whole shebang.

So much so that you don't know what to support any more. Want to be serious on crime and hit the bad guys with heavy sentences? Darn tootin'! Oh, unless the admin decides not to. In which case it's 'No, no - the poor guy has already spent some time in the local hoosegow. Let him go!'

So, any idea what's going to happen to him if he's sent to Eswatini? Nah, of course you don't. Nobody has told you. The admin has simply said that their going to send him to somewhere almost everyone certainly had to look up on a map.

And you want to simply let him go...
Liberals want to let him go. Conservatives were happy when he was rotting in an El Salvadorian prison. Get that straight. If Democrats had it their way, he would be released back into the United States with a statue and awards. Seems like a fair compromise.

The statue of limitations may have run out on human trafficking. It was the Biden administration, the Biden FBI, that told state police to release him. No charges for not producing a valid license or speeding. A number of MS-13 gang members have been caught that don't have any crimes on record, they are being quickly deported and at least the administration is implementing some fines. If the Democrats can flood the country with criminals and the Republicans put them each of them through long criminal prosecution processes which back up our judicial system for many years than those Democrats have won. That sends the wrong message--that elites can violate our border laws and get away with it.
