My posting leanings go mainly, but not exclusively, against the Democratic party in this cycle because the Democratic Party message sucks. I don’t agree with a lot of things that Trump is doing and have voiced it in other threads. However, my vote for 2026 remains undecided.

False! It appears you have just ignored the numerous faults by the previous administration which directly led to the election of Trump.

You can cry "false" all you want, doesn't change it. A really large portion of the US electorate is very partisan, they'll vote for the candidate of their party no matter what. This also ignores that some of the "faults" were just the opposite side yelling "this is bad!" even if it wasn't and their own side taking it without further thought. And the entertainment factor still very much lived there, it's quite obvious in how Trump (not just him, but he leans a lot into it as that is what he knows) acts.

Oh no, certainly not a requirement. But it does show the character of a person how they've conducted themselves and continue to do so and whether you care about that. If we take his latest cheating on his wife for example, it ain't that long ago that he turned into a pious monk suddenly. I doubt God forgives and says you are redeemed when you haven't shown you've changed. I mean Trump himself said he has nothing to get forgiven for by God.

No, the entertainment factor is a factor. He's loud, rude and obnoxious and a section of the electorate loved that. He wasn't a boring politician. He was entertaining. That was a big part of his initial draw, the childish nicknames and all.

Not sure how this relates to ignoring what's bad about the opposite side, the American electorate is very much guilty of that. Very few things seem to go far enough for them to go "yeah, that's bad" about their own side.

Your analogy fails badly as any hurricane that hits land can be an emergency, but the higher crime rate was not one while the lower one suddenly is one. Three hurricanes are not more of an emergency than two, depending on factors such as where it hits, what force it is, etc.
