it is hilarious watching the entitlement of trump and his cabinet and such. They attack us, repeatedly insult, threaten and mock us, but complain because we don't want anything to do with the US. I guess americans were nasty for decades because of Cuba. It's so funny how trump loves to insult and attack everyone else, but they are mean, or nasty if they respond in kind.

Nasty to deal with - read your own OP - he was not insulting Canadians et al - he was describing what it was like dealing with Canadian Leadership.

QUOTE: - Pete Hoekstra told a conference audience on Monday that such steps “don’t send positive signals” about Canada treating the United States well.

yeah, that's nice -

QUOTE: - “There are reasons why the president and some of his team referred to Canada as being mean and nasty to deal with, OK, because of some of those steps.”
Get your victimhood straight.

right because calling people upset at you insulting and threatening them nasty or nasty to deal with is some how different things. If someone is nasty to deal with that makes them nasty.

I'm just laughing at trump, he's the agresor here non stop insulting canada then like a child complaining we want nothing to do with him. Trump has been nothing but nasty to canada since this all started. A country has every right to not want to buy american products, but trump seems to think it's our duty to buy your stuff. Before the monthly insults and threats Canadians loved american stuff, trumps the reason we want nothing to do with you.

If you insult me, threaten to break into my house non stop, insult and call my home a drug house when it's not, it's not nasty to tell others your being mean and a jerk and your no longer allowed in my house or my friend. I don't have to put up with you being mean any more then Canadians have to put up with trump and the US being mean thugs.

Forgive me - I was unaware that you had the unique ability to speak of an entire nation so definitively.

Especially since your very own OP contradicts you.

given trumps complaining about us not buying your products, and not traveling, and the tourism and purchases canada has made from the US has gone down, it's pretty much the truth. I know you posted in those topics, so you know it's been going on.

It might be your perception - but it is not the truth as evidence by the link in your OP

An Ambassador relaying the POTUS verbiage...how diplomatic.

Canadians avoiding travel to the United States and banning American alcohol are among the reasons U.S. President Donald Trump thinks the country is “nasty” to deal with, the U.S. ambassador to Canada said Monday.

I am astonished everyday by how hard other nations try to be civil to the members of the Trump Administration. To a person, their behavior is usually so abominable and hateful that it is difficult to be in the same room with them. When I hear that Trump calls someone nasty I think that it must be a lovely person that I would enjoy getting to know.

pretty much just about every time trump complains about how he's treated, "they are an evil blight on the US and are trying to destroy it, but saying i'm a bad president is them being mean.

what I love is how trumps continual insulting and attacking Canada has only made us more economicly stronger, and better off.
You're talking about the 1% of course. What about the people who are losing Medicaid and SNAP benefits? What about the tens of thousands of federal employees who have lost their jobs? What about the people in Texas and other states who have suffered from natural disasters and have FEMA dragging their heels and refusing their claims. This happened in my home state recently and even the governor had a hard time eventually getting part of what the people were owed. What about immigrant families whose Breadwinners have been deported leaving them in the United States without an income or a father? What about all of us who are already facing some inflation and who will find paying our bills Out Of Reach when the tariffs start

sorry I meant Canada stronger :> I'm Canadian, were doing more trade with other countries, removing barriers to make interprovincial trade easier, The US is having a ton of trouble, but this is the kind of stuff should have been done in Canada ages ago.
