What evidence? We have Gabbard's opinion.

I wish the people who were convicted or pleaded guilty for colluding with Russia (and/or lying about it to federal agents) had gone to prison, but I think Trump pardoned them all.
Gabbard released over a hundred pages of documents. Looks like more than merely her opinion.

I don't think there's much controversy over the fact that the Russians hacked the DNC information and orchestrated its release, engaged in other cyber activity targeting election security, and that Putin preferred a Trump victory and Russian propaganda organs worked toward that goal. That's about the gist of the documents.

More evidence that the whole Russia collusion/collaboration was a hoax perpetrated by Democrats trying to not just influence an election but take down a duly elected president.

I hope people go to prison for this.
Hopefully in this case justice will continue to move swiftly:

"Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office after President Trump had already gotten elected. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic."

Right, that's her opinion.

Now what evidence is there? Trump's name appears in the released documents only a bit more than a dozen times. Most of the documents are various intelligence work products, outlining all the very true things we know about Russian activities and influence campaigns. Can you point to the conspiracy in the 100 pages? Is the conspiracy in the room with us right now?

She released over a hundred pages of emails and memos without any annotations or explanations of why they were relevant and, via the link on the DNI page, called it a "report". She also released an 11 page memo outlining a bunch of claims, many of which were obviously dishonest on their face. I went through a couple of them in the other thread:

It appears the Trump administration finally figured out that nobody cares if they try to pin anything on Hillary. But I'm really looking forward to this, it's shaping up to be the greatest show on earth. Barnum and Baily couldn't have come near it.

I think that perhaps the only reason that you believe those pages of documents are dishonest is because of the accusations towards the Obama administration.

Oh, you think that’s the reason, huh?

Did you actually bother to click the link and read what I wrote or did you jump to that conclusion automatically?

Did you even bother to read Gabbard’s docs or did you leave that to me and the other libs?

Nothing there either. Again, most of it has been seen. The same assessment as the Tulsi memo applies:

1. Russia did not make a serious attempt to hack voting infrastructure.
2. Russian intel did a hack and release on DNC/Clinton campaign email and servers

Though there was more info than I'd seen before on the GOP hack (but not release):

GRU actors in early July used
known GRU infrastructure to log in to e-mail
accounts belonging to state- and federal-level
Republican campaigns and several Political
Action Committees (PACs) supporting that party,
according to CIA analysis of [redacted]
technical data. We assess with high confidence
that the GRU targeted a company that managed
domains for Republican campaigns and PACs and
a domain that the Republican National
Committee (RNC) had previously used. GRU
efforts compromised entire e-mail accounts, [redacted]
RNC officials told
the FBI that the domain had not been used for at
least six years.

3. Russia used social media operations from Pregozhian and "IRA".

No crimes found.

This is the first time that Obama has been directly implicated. I think they should more forward with trials. As to Obama, presidential immunity may come into play.

There is literally nothing new in the released documents that *ANYONE* did anything illegal. Virtually all of the information was already there. This is nothing more than chum in the water. You fell for it.

For what?
As to Obama, presidential immunity may come into play.
An illegitimate doctrine. The president should not be immune from criminal culpability.

Mister President there’s evidence that a foreign power tried to interfere with our elections!

Do nothing, you could be indicted nine years from now, (I’ll be ‘okay’ since I’ve got that sweet sweet immunity for being President!)

The mind, it boggles.

The only ones who really matter, in my opinion, if they read those documents are the DOJ, and any prosecutors and grand jury. It just seems a little strange to me that some people were willing to believe Obama's DNI, CIA, FBI, & DOJ when those agencies were investigating Trump and his allies. But they appear to not be able to be willing to believe the current DNI, FBI, & DOJ.

It's not really a matter of believing them. They don't even have to say anything to defend themselves, because there is no actual accusation anywhere.
