Is this polish writing?

I found an advertisement for an old grocery store with a very Catholic theme on it. Trying to figure out the language it’s written in. Can anyone help?

I can’t tell you how many times I took pictures much better than this and they would not post. I got back into town and just decided to take a pic again and just plopped it on the deck outside and it posted. Go figure. Anyway, it an old grocery store advert. I was shocked by the blatantly Catholic imagery. If you can’t zoom in well enough to read the text, let me know and I’ll type it out. Is the language polish or something else? I’m very curious. As you can tell, it pretty old but I just couldn’t pass it up. @Wolseley I thought you might give it a shot. Sorry for the shabby pic but it was the only one I could get to post.

Well I looked up stores in Whiting IN. I think the proprietor was Angeline Murzyn.

Maybe in a polish neighborhood with a big Catholic population?

Yeah it really caught my eye. Bonus that a devout Catholic woman was running the place. After I researched, it made more sense. Looking for a spot to put it in my kitchen.

It is Polish, Michie. The small message up at the very top says "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Wishes". Below that in large letters is the proprietor's name, A. Murzyn. Under that is "Grocery and Meat Warehouse, Superior Produce, Fruits, and Vegetables".

And lest you think I'm a language wizard, I looked it up on Google Translate, LOL!
