Do you agree with the President on border enforcement and illegal aliens?

???? He didn't appoint RFK a life long Democrat from a family of Democrats? News to me.
You're right - RFK JR is sort of a Democrat.
Tulsi Gabbard?
Former Democrat. She is now a Republican like Trump.
Stein who? Googling got me this:
0126400006

Surely you jest - or will complaint that they are not real Democrats - and oft used objection. But completely inaccurate in this circumstance.
Mistaken, not jesting - but Gabbard is no longer a Democrat. I'm not sure that RFK JR is anymore. But you are right - hiring opposition to buy them off is something Trump has long done - he hired NYC regulators t get them off his back, back in the day.

This was about the response that someone is not a criminal unless convicted of it.
And? This has been a sticking point to many people on this forum when it came to referring to Trump as a criminal or to referring to the crimes he committed. At this point and because of these discussions, I only say that ironically. Sorry if you didn't understand that even as I've made that point over and over. Oh well.
I asked if you were raped and the state couldn't prove the case against the person that did it, did that mean you weren't raped. After all he wasn't convicted.
Again, what is it with you people making emotional arguments that entail me being raped? I find that line of argument distasteful and inappropriate - and, again, menacing.
By the way I had a sister who was robbed and raped. They never caught the guy. But if he wasnt convicted in my estimation he was still a criminal.
Take that up with the Trump apologists.
Anyway, I'm done with this point of discussion.
And without ever having understood my part of the discussion. Horse/water.

RFK was never in elected politics, ran as an independent and joined a republican presidency. What exactly makes him a Democrat, besides the Kennedy name?
Tulsi Gabbard?
No longer a democrat.

They are not anymore, if they ever were. Is Donald Trump still a Democrat, in your opinion?

That's 57 out of 1,100,000 international students or 0.00518181818%.

57 too many.

btw, last week, Rubio stated: How many student visa's have been revoked: "probably under a thousand"

A student's visa could be pulled for "for past, current or expected beliefs."

It's always interesting to put these things to the test of time. Let's go back 10 years:

Q: How many student visas were revoked in 2015?

A: In 2015, it is reported that over 1,000 international students at 160 US colleges and universities had their visas revoked or their legal status terminated. This involved universities directly confirming the revocations, and some students were forced to leave the country immediately.

Yes, it's always interesting to compare apples...with apples.
This isn't the first administration to revoke visas.
This is the first administration to revoke a visa based on a student's free speech.....not only for what they have expressed in the past...but also what they may express in the future.

So in the past if a foreign student made threatening remarks against the United States and US citizens, said things that were a national security concern, belonged to some group or organization that was a national security concern and things of that nature, it was just shrugged off as "free speech"?

Where is your evidence for this claim? How do you know this is the first time that a students involvement in campus take overs and belonging to terrorist supporting organizations has had their visa revoked?

I'd really like to see the evidence of their claim rhat this is the fist time anything like this has occurred. I bet they have no idea why the 1000 students in 2015 had their visas revoked.

Lousy academic performance or unauthorized employment.

Reasons for the termination of a SEVIS Record include:

  • Failure to report your arrival to OIA by uploading your immigration documents as directed
  • Unauthorized employment (employment without advanced authorization from OIA or USCIS)
  • Unauthorized withdrawal from classes (dropping all your classes without advance permission from OIA)
  • Unauthorized drop below full course of study (dropping below full time enrollment without advance authorization from OIA)
  • Expulsion or suspension
  • Failure to enroll in classes
  • Enrollment in too many online classes
  • Failure to report OPT employment (automatic action by SEVIS)
  • Accrual of 90 days of unemployment while on OPT (automatic action by SEVIS)

So you have no idea why all 1000 in 2015 lost their status. Rhat was my point. And thise aren't rue only reasons you can lose your visa. But you know that.

What, each and every one? Of course not.

But this list represents the main reasons. And none of them are political in nature.

Yeah I remember Obama

Quote: We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

Btw Trump has Democrats in his administration
We are talking about the deporter-in-chief

It will be awhile before Trump deports as many as Obama did. Of course, Biden is another matter entirely.

Well Obama had 8 years. Trump 6 months and court fights the entire way. So, he's just getting started.

Even if this is a Christian country and I have the secret understanding of which laws conform to the teachings of Jesus,

do I have a right to pass laws that enforce my understanding of Christianity on others, those who believe as I do, and those who don't?
==============
IMO, this is not a very complicated question. However, it is one that permeates our politics. It has for centuries. Many believed (and still believe) that their understandings should define secular state marriage and that (for example) the state shouldn't be allowed to marry a black man to a white woman. Many believe that health care should only be provided to citizens.
===============
Some groups of Christians believe that the primary function of the state should be to care for the poor, the sick, the weak and the imprisoned. Food, lodgings and health care should be provided to the man who has worked an hour in the fields in a similar amount to the one who has worked all day. They don't believe that the poorest of the poor need to hope that a church or other charitable group should provide for their sick child.

Other groups believe that the state (and Christianity) is about fairness and conforming to their understanding of the rules. People must deserve food, lodgings and health care.

fair enough
Of course, the courts fought Obama.
========
I am one that thinks that Trump will tire of Miller and his thugs. Trump does indeed understand that the businessfolk are right. They need immigrants (legal and illegal, in the country now and not). Trump understands that we need workers, many for jobs that no one else will do. Trump will NOT cripple the economy, no matter how much Navarro and Miller push him to do so.
==========
BTW, the Democrats do NOT have the issue right. They rant about projections of 2026 inflation going up to the crazy rate of 4% or 5%. They say that his threats won't cause foreign countries to produce more here.

make no mistake. Trump's treatment of our allies is truly crazy, especially his treatment of Canada. But change is happening. Deals are indeed getting done. We do indeed have more access to several countries. We have collected many billions without huge inflation. And many companies are building or refurbishing factories.
=========
Democrats can win in 2026, but 2028 is very, very unlikely without a huge, huge change in the policies and methods of the party.
