Do you forget that many of the residents are rapist, murderous gang members, human traffickers, drug dealers and child abusers? This is who SOME liberals use as poster children for rants against Trump. Why is that? What evidence do you have that any of the guards are sociopaths?
You mistake the reasoning. It is because some of us believe that how we treat the least of us reflect on who we are as a people. We believe it so much we wrote the principle into our founding document and we find it disturbing that some people would violate this principle to treat others, some who might be innocent, with disdain simply because some might be bad people.
I am not condemning anyone! Their actions and crimes condemn them. Many have already been adjudicated as criminals and those who are here illegally caught up in some of the raids have still violated our immigration laws and while they may have not committed the violent crimes like the main targets of ICE they still are deportable under our laws. We can thank the Biden administration for allowing this mess that needs cleaning up.
