It's not a joke. Democrat leaders have too often crossed the line. We have had Supreme Court justices threatened and Joe Biden as a president refusing to enforce the law for protecting Supreme Court justices and their families. Hopefully Trump can turn things around.

Yes, Homeland Security enforces the laws passed by Congress. What happened was that the Biden administration decided not to enforce some laws, although the president took an oath. Now Democrats are furious that immigration laws are being enforced. As to oversight, Congress does have an oversight responsibility, in my opinion they have done a poor job for decades. However, your claim that this administration "has limited that oversight' is not true. As a matter of fact, Trump recently waived executive privilege for a Congressional investigation:

They are going to do whatever they need to do to try and prevent it. Which includes obstructing, blocking, attacking and doxing the agents. And then harass and threaten the agents and their families. All simply because they are enforcing immigration law.

I, like many Republican Presidents (Reagan, Bush, etc) believe our laws should be enforced without losing our humanity.

I think our country needs to provide a pathway to citizenship. Ripping fathers and mothers from their families, pastors from their church and others who have contributed to their families, communities and our country should be granted citizenship. They should not be treated as criminals.

Then talk to your congressmen and get the laws changed to your liking. Dont obstruct, attack and harass those and thier fanilies who are following the laws by arresting the illegals.

The illegals are being treated according to the laws. Are mistakes made? Of course. LE across this country make mistakes all the time. They arrest the wrong person, they enter the wrong house etc. It happens. But you dont see Americans blocking the police and attacking the police when they show up. You dont see people threatening them and their families.

If ICE does something wrong then handle it appropriately on a case by case basis just like we do with every other case where LE makes a mistake.
