It was stated as a "fact" that she lied... Based on her using the word "it".

Based on her claim that [the list] was "on her desk" in an interview and now claiming that there is no "list".

"It" is non-descriptive in nature, therefore it is non clarifying in what it it describes.

It is not "non-descriptive" it is a pronoun and refers to the *last* subject or object noun mentioned.

Q: Where is the stapler?
A: It is in the drawer with the scissors.

The "It" in the reply cleary refers to "the stapler". This is how she refers to the "Epstein list" by using "it" in her reply.

Again she was pivoting the discussion to add new talking points, that were more important to discuss in her opinion, or perhaps she wanted to go in that direction. How can you say that's impossible?

After she answered the question using an "it" to refer to the list. People on the pivot also answer the question and then move on to what they really want to talk about. Pam Bondi is a lawyer and clearly knows how words, including pronouns, work. Lawyers know how to ask and answer questions. It is one of the primary skills.

It's highly improbable that a conspiracy of any kind has covered up or destroyed names of easily indictable people.

I find it plausible that no one else has been indicted because prosecutors do not have any such list. And they don't have it because there isn't one (at least not in the government's hands).

Its possible. But this is back when "the client list" was assumed to be a thing, and even loads of Trump supporters were very eager for its release. And the question from Fox was crystal clear.

To which she replied, "It is sitting on my desk right now."

She was speaking of the list.

I have zero problem accepting that Bondi would lie to us if there was some advantage to be gained, or disadvantage to avoid. Look who she's serving.

From what I can remember Bondi never said she had "the list on her desk” or a “client list” on her desk. She only said the files were on her desk, meaning her department hadn’t dug into them yet. Then when they searched through all the files there was no “list”.

The whole thing rest on shaky ground, something called a “client list”. Clients of what? Is there a header printed on top of the list that says, “Pedophilia Clients”? There would have to be something on that list that links each name to under aged kids before they can even consider an investigation. Just having names on a list belonging to a known pedophile doesn’t make the names on that list pedophiles. Seems like a big nothing burger used to divide Trump supporters.

It occurs to me that Trumps promises to release the Epstein client list, the real JFK files, the full MLK dossier and whatever else were all just a ploy for marginal gains of votes. The docs had to neither contain a shred of actual new info nor even exist for this to work.

Lets face it, some people are so burning with curiosity (and suspicion) that the prospect of The Big Reveal is really attractive. It could definitely motivate some people bored with their mundane day to day lives to make the huge effort and mail in their ballot on time.

(I feel like im probably the last person to have this now obvious thought.)
