The catch with this is that, the 6 day work week, which is actually a 7 day week in full, is also symbolic of the completion and inauguration of temples throughout the old testament. Which involves God's rest on the 7th day. Which would suggest that even a 7-day week as understood through 24-hour days, still would fit more broadly into a symbolic or figurative context.

Because, despite all your insistence to the contrary, you are still saying the Earth was created 6000 years ago. That really is the main and fundamental definition of a Young Earth Creationist.

All you do is show that you've hemmed and hawed so much between YEC and OEC that you've essentially settled on a horribly hybrid of both, which is even worse since it's the most extra-Biblical and non-scientific thing to think of.
