I’m saying it doesn’t matter what is in their pants because no one is going to check, no one wants or suggests that as an option. Use the bathroom that matches their outward gender appearance as has been happening in the past and present. I’m not talking about a bearded man in a dress trying to make a scene.
There are already laws against that kind of thing anyway.

And I think that is the biggest point, anyway. There are already laws against loitering in a bathroom, "disturbing" people in a bathroom, trying to peak into stalls (regardless of the sex doing the "peeping"), not to mention laws against sexual assault and rape. So it seems a bit ludicrous to me that laws stating only certain genders can use certain bathrooms are going to make people safe, when all these others laws aren't doing it currently. How is this one law, aimed primarily at people that are already seeking medical help, going to make things any better?

Now we need laws to keep men out period because men have easier access to women to subject them to the other things. Making it easier for them to break other laws is not the answer.

It's easy enough now--you just walk right in.

Dumbest suggestion I’ve ever heard. If a person has male genitalia then use the men’s bathroom. Is not that hard. No tin foil hats needed.
Maybe you're not following the conversation. The question is what do you intend doing if someone that was born male considers themself to be a woman, has transitioned and presents herself as a woman. If she's out with her girlfriends, maybe most of whom don't know what sex she was born, do you honestly think that as they all head for the restroom to fix their makeup she's going to excuse herself and go in to the men's?

Who is going to do the genitalia check that you deem will determine who uses which restroom?

No one is going to do the genitalia check. Is still the dumbest suggestion I’ve ever heard .

So those who consider themselves male will use the men's restroom and those who consider themselves female will use the women's.

Seems like we have a solution.

No. Those that actually have male genitalia will use the male bathroom. I guess you need some help with comprehension skills.

Prove me wrong. "Societal", LOL.
Most non far left progressive women do not want men in their bathroom. Yes it is societal unless you claim that only far left progressive women constitute “society“.

You can cut the sarcasm, please. It's not required. I'll repeat the problem that some people have:

A person born as a male transitions to a woman because they feel that their gender doesn't align with their birth sex. So after transitioning they present themself as a woman. She dresses as a woman, prefers female pronouns and is, as far as she is concerned, a female. Almost certainly people when meeting her will accept her as such.

If she is in a bar then she will use the women's restroom. With which some people seem to have a problem. They insist that she must use the men's room. As you just did.

Your problem is that you won't be able to tell, out of all the women using the women's rest room, which of them were born male.

So...how do you ensure that all those women were born women? How do you determine which is the woman who was born male?

The same way that people have been using bathrooms since the genesis of public restrooms. People that have male genitalia use the male bathroom and those that have female genitalia use the female bathroom. This only seems to have become a problem since the far left made it an issue.

It’s not prejudice. It’s about the rights of women and girls over sexually confused men.

They are free to do whatever they want, they are not free to violate the rights of others.

Some women don’t want men to be in their private places. They don’t need to give a reason.
And some women have no issue with it at all, as it has been going on since the advent of public restrooms. Do you believe someone who can pass as a man has been using the women's restroom in the advent of public restrooms? Or a person who can pass as a woman stepped into the men's restroom? If discovered at all, it was an overlooked crime when someone beat the living daylights out of them for pretty much any reason. So they almost always did not do anything to call unnecessary attention to themselves for fear of their lives or their family's lives.

I have had two or three men appearing individuals come into a restroom while I was in there, sometimes alone, other times not. No presenting females fainted or shared an opinion on the issue. I also know I have been sharing restrooms with passing trans women for my entire life. I have been sexually assaulted as well. That does not give me the right to tell someone else they cannot come into a public restroom with because I do not want them to. As adults, we do not always get what we want.

I guess I am an odd duck, but I did not take the time to wonder if they were trans, if the men's restroom was out of service, or if they entered the wrong door and forged on. I just presumed it was a person who needed to use the facilities. I am more uncomfortable being in an elevator with a man alone, as there is no place for me to even have a chance to get away from them if they are a bad actor. But I do not infringe on their to use the elevator because I am uncomfortable. I do not tell them to get out or use another elevator. I am vigilant, and I get over it because it is my issue, not theirs and being uncomfortable does not trump their rights to use facilities, elevators etc..

I tend to form opinions based on logic and historical facts. If a pervert or a sexual predator wants to enter a woman's space to commit a felony, I have no presumption that a misdemeanor charge or using the wrong restroom will prevent their intent. Predators and perverts have been entering women's restrooms with ill intent since the advent of public restrooms.
