The few. Consider that Jesus talked of no ones will being done except the Father ‘s. Not even His own. Everything was about the Father

You know I hope that is true. I know so many people that want nothing to do with Jesus including my own parents. I have experienced what I consider Hell on Earth. Hell is supposed to be worse than anything on Earth so I can’t imagine the pain sickness and suffering that is there.
When I met Jesus I felt a love unlike anything I’ve ever felt since being alive. I felt like he loved me more than anyone else and he loves everyone like that! I just cannot see Jesus letting any of us end up there for eternity. But maybe people will. But many times it says he is the savior of ALL men. Maybe they do just go there for chastisement then are let in, like the Old Testament people that died without God. Jesus went to “prison” and preached the gospel to them. I seriously doubt anyone in Hell rejected his message.

IF you see that way we can be assured that He sees much better and is capable of things on the upside we can't even imagine.

IF we're going to believe in God in Christ we're far better off believing the very best for all people. You know, measure unto others how you want to be measured. Nothing but upside. IF nothing else it RIDS us of that ugly form of darkness in our own hearts that pictures God burning people alive forever. In retrospect, having left that sight behind, my heart and life in general has been the better for it.

I do not see God as a Divine Torturer or an impotent potentate who can't do any better because people force Him into a corner and He must then only torture them forever. Kind of bizarre if you ask me.

We all look for an ultimate change, at our end or the collective end of humanity in its current form in this wicked age.

Let's look forward to that end and the best for all people.

In the meantime however...there is indeed hell on earth. God did command the light to shine from the darkness after all

Though this is far from the OP's intent, how does anyone acquire a sense of self ?
I would posit, that our reaction to the impact we have on others gives us a sense of self.
Babies cry, and their parents react.
Baby learns that by doing X, Y will happen !

The notions of people's will's prevailing over God's Divine Perfect Will are basic utter nonsense flaws of reasoning that make God the lesser position, which is of course no God at'all. A huge segment of christianity bows to this form of understanding under the phony theology flag of the free will of the individual prevailing over the Perfect Will of God.

And I'd suggest it is even God Himself who gives such delusions of mind by resisting the spirits of disobedience in people and they then essentially rejecting Divine Superiority, openly. I'm even sure He gets a chuckle out of it.

There are no exceptions to "all things" in creation. God's Will is in motion at all times in all places, simultaneously. And yes, it can be and is terrifying at times. It was never about "love all you guys" only. There is judgment of various dark powers and agencies unseen also transpiring in this present world that are allowed to play out in the physical environment that are the most evil and vile things.

Theodicy is where the rubber meets the road in theology, and there are many reasonable explanations for why God allows evil/vile things without immediate interventions. Ultimate judgment is on the horizon, which is part of the real Christian Hope.

The flesh natures play under a flag called "survival of the fittest" which is the only rule the flesh knows. Even christians worship their own choice wills as a type of "survival of the fittest" seed, which they consider they themselves are, because of their choices. And the unfortunate seeds that landed on the bad rocky ground are basically done for, because of survival of the fittest choices of the seeds didn't seem to work for the majority. It's the craziest of stories, really, if you peel it back and take a hard look at yourself in reality and your own continuing series of bad choices.
