We've heard from women on the subject here. Some care, some not so much. As for my female friends and relations, when at a concert or other event, they will unhesitatingly use the men's because the line is (usually) shorter. Nobody minds about that. Why isn't the situation symmetrical? To answer this question, remove the word "who is trans" and end up with:
"What's the problem with allowing someone from using whatever bathroom they want to? How does that limit anyone else's rights in any way whatsoever?"
Do you similarly "not get" why women might not want a man to use their bathroom? If yes, then your position is consistent, but you should then be of the opinion that all bathrooms should be integrated (which, in fairness, I know some have suggested).
If you understand why women wouldn't want a man in their bathroom, but don't get it for transgenders, what is your distinction? Is the fact the transgender person in question feels they are the opposite sex such a big difference that any complaints by women about it should be ignored?
Yes, I can understand why some women don't want to have biological men come into the women's bathroom. Actually, the "Left" were totally blinded sided by this. They don't get it because, men and women both, they just don't care as much as conservatives about men going into women's bathrooms, or people seeing each other naked or men dressing in women's clothes, etc.
