I have not made up anything or repeated conspiracy theories. Which part of what I said is untrue?
I mentioned several of them already.
He takes no salary, and if you want to talk about someone monitizing the office, look no further than Biden.
He takes a salary of $400,000. The only year he apparently deferred was 2017, which he declared but never proved. He’s claimed he does via pictures of checks shared to Twitter, but since some of the departments he’s claimed to donate to don’t actually accept donations, it’s pretty probably nonsense. All evidence shows he took his pension salary of about $246,600 and his $1 million yearly travel reimbursements.
His presidency was ripe with scandal, including selling out his country to the highest bidder.
Oh it was not and he did not, lol. Conspiracy theorist nonsense from alt right news sources.
And Trump doesn't misspeak, per se (though it happens on occasion) as much as he embellishes. It's something EVERY person alive does.
Uh… No, not everybody does that. Certainly we shouldn’t be like “sure, the president lies but doesn’t everybody?” One expects higher, not average or lower integrity of our elected officials. And he misspeaks constantly… That’s not even worth pretending doesn’t happen because we all see it does.
But, I digress. Please go back to bashing Trump because he misspoke a couple times.
I bash him for being an objectively terrible president who has no integrity, is intellectually lacking, erratic, and even by your admission less-than-honest. Misspeaking happens. Being a president who doesn’t know basic third grade US history and embarrasses us on a daily basis does not.
Can you link me to any post you made about Biden trying to call the woman who died up to the stage to introduce her?
What an oddly specific request.
As I remember that, he was at an event organized by her, she had died a month prior unexpectedly, and he was on his way to see her family. As you say, “misspeaking” happens and is no big deal.
Or is it only no big deal when it’s your candidate, lol?
Or any time you dissed your own side? I cease to see someone who props up one side at all costs at the expense of the other as serious.
“Dissed” my own side? Maybe that’s the issue here… You’re talking about politics as if we are talking about sports teams and we pick red or we pick blue and everybody is either “my side” or “your side.” Meanwhile, I think it’s far less simplistic. Me? I don’t “diss” sides. I discuss politics, politicians, and the nuances that entails which is far, far more complex than picking a team and “dissing” the opposition. This isn’t a rap battle. And you say you don’t take somebody who props up one side at all costs as serious, yet here you are defending Trump and talking about “sides.” You don’t even conduct yourself by a standard you have respect for, so how am I supposed to?
For the record, I don’t operate by “sides.” I vote both sides of the aisle. Before 2016, I was pretty split on democrats and republicans on my ballots. The only person here who’s chosen a side is you: your side you believe does no wrong, and the “side” you projected onto me by insisting I have and blindly support simply because I think Trump is a garbage person and leader. You have no interest in what I actually believe, just what you want me to believe then you get yourself all worked up about it… Probably because taking the time to have a discussion about what I believe instead of “the left are the bad guys always and forever” is a bit too much for you. That’s fine, not everybody knows about politics beyond the headlines like I do, but it does mean when you behave that way, you’re arguing with yourself, not me, and you’re working yourself up over nonsense.
Funny for me? Yes. Conductive to a real discussion about politics? No. But you’re looking to be mad, not have a discussion, so rock on.
