Never said he was. Sometime one can make an educated guess. Hopefully the good people that welcomed the guests offered him a chair. Again, I don’t know how this advances the argument.
True, though being rude does not justify assault. If you disagree, I suggest decking the next person to be rude to you and see how that works out. But you specifically stated that he does not have the right to be rude. And that's just not true.

lol you got me. I committed the grave sin of critical thinking. When the camera pans to the senator he was resisting the security people and pushing forward. Whether he started from a seating or a standing position is irrelevant. Your argument changes nothing.
I'm aware of the meaning. I don't see how that makes anything worse for him though. And if he was never given a seat in the first place (which is, I believe, the case - he wasn't invited to the press conference and showed up on his own initiative), there wouldn't have even been a seat for him to remain seated in.

The video in post #84 starts a few seconds earlier and helps to clarify a bit. It starts with him stopped at the front of the room and preparing to speak as a secret service agent grabs him and starts to shove him backwards. His struggles after that are primarily to remain upright, not to reach the podium.
I saw the video and it starts abruptly. I can’t see it well but his body seems to be moving forward a bit. Maybe a video that starts just a couple of seconds earlier might be clearer.
We could say this about the Republican party, as well
I think that it is sad that some protesters take things out on those who are just trying to obey orders but I also think that it is sad for politicians, like Noem, lying about what is actually occurring. Both, should be held accountable.
Democrats have been trying to do that for years. Maybe the Republicans will try to help.

That’s not what I see. The senator continues to push against the agents and he is escorted out of the room where the press conference is happening.
It's all moot. I can understand that the security team might not recognize him immediately--they were just doing the job. But there is no excuse for Noem letting it play out.
