I don’t believe it will end well either way. Nor do I think we’ll be unscathed in the long run. That isn’t a take you’ll usually hear from christians. They expect God to punish everyone but America and Israel. Their delusion will be their undoing.

Throwing away American blood and treasure in the Middle East and blow back from it has been going on so long its tradition at this point.

Only insensible people delight in the possibility of sending their children to death. The majority aren’t cyber warmongers. ;-)

I was praying and hoping that Israel would have given the USA more time to reach a diplomatic solution with Iran in order to hopefully have a peaceful resolution to Iran's nuclear ambitions.
There was never going to be a diplomatic solution. It was an impasse. Iran would not budge on being able to domestically enrich Uranium, and the US would not allow Iran to enrich themselves at all, as previously they had allowed enrichment to up to 3.67%, which is enough for civilian power production, but Iran enriched to 20%, and now enriches to 60% which is far far beyond what is necessary for civilian power plants but 1 step below weapons grade. The demonstration of Iran not holding to the limits set showed that no enrichment could be allowed whatsoever, Iran could not be trusted not to enrich higher so they had to be set that they could not enrich uranium at all domestically, they'd need to buy it, which the offer was with the removed sanctions they'd have access to reactor fuel on the global market.

But Iran insists it must be allowed to enrich its own.

Because of that impasse, there was never going to be a peaceful deal. Iran was using the talks to stall for time while they made and tested the components for nuclear weapons. Last week Iran was testing Implosion triggers (needed for Plutonium based atomic bombs because Plutonium is more unstable than Uranium and degrades so quickly it doesn't stay at critical mass, hence you need an implosion to force the mass of plutonium together in an increasingly small space to keep it at critical mass so it sustains the chain reaction needed for detonation. This test, which serves no other purpose but for the construction of atomic bombs, was the red line that was crossed that said it had to be now or never. Either Iran's nuclear program would be destroyed or they would test a nuclear weapon and that would make them untouchable, nobody risks invading North Korea since they successfully tested nuclear weapons you'll notice.

Thankfully North Korea is content to saber rattle and does not attack in earnest.
Iran.. with it's more religious motivation, we can't test that. Iran would most likely use it.

I'm more surprised that the US is not helping as we are also in danger of a nuclear Iran.

Trump says 'it's possible' US gets involved in Israel-Iran conflict

Will the U.S. get more involved in the conflict?: "We're not involved in it. It's possible we could get involved. But we are not at this moment involved," the president said.

Is this just Trump's mouth flapping carelessly or something real? Your guess is as good as mine!

No, its Trump saying we could get involved. To emphatically say we won't would be stupid as it gives Iran something to hang their turban on. Leaving it open is the proper response because we don't have any idea what might happen.

Israel is at war, with an enemy (much financed by Iran) that violated their sovereign borders and committed sick and heinous acts against innocent civilians. In addition, in October of 2024 Iran launched waves of ballistic missiles at Israel. Israel and the U.S. have given Iran every opportunity to stop their quest for atomic bombs. On Thursday even the United Nations got involved, with their board of governors putting out a statement that Iran is not complying with its nuclear obligations for the first time in 20 years! Iran quickly responded, thumbing their nose at the United Nations, pronouncing they will establish a new nuclear enrichment facility. Without intervention Iran likely would have used atomic bombs on Israel and possibly the United States before the end of the year..
Israel is a nuclear state that has refused to sign the non proliferation treaty. Israel has committed far more heinous acts in Israel/Palestine since 1948, killing far more people than vice versa. Israel's geographical location should not be a surprise to its people and supporters.

More lies once again. Here’s something you may want to look into. It’s a paper produced in 2009 by The Brookings Institute: Which Path to Persia? Options for a New American Strategy Towards Iran. I’m including a screenshot for your reference. Notice chapter 5.

Putin has put an offer on the table on Iran’s behalf. He said, “Russia can store Iran’s enriched uranium and remove excess from Tehran.” They’re also building them nuclear facilities as previously agreed.

“Reports say that Israel banned live footage of the Iranian missile strikes and settlers have been restricted from sharing videos that show Iran’s retaliation. Some leaked footage revealed terrified settlers in shelters amid the onslaught. Even traffic cameras were shut down across cities under fire to avoid panic.“

This was posted around 9:30 cst and the bombing has worsened. It was predicted that things would heighten the longer they continue. Trump departed the G7 early and is on his way back to D.C.

the ban on filming the attacks was because Iran was using the footage for increasing their accuracy on subsequent attacks is what I've heard at least.
Say they aim for a particular building like the Ministry of Defense HQ, that they missed by about 300 meters, if there's video recordings showing the trajectory and impact of the missile that was off by 300m, they can adjust the trajectory of another missile and hit it the next time. It's kind of like having a spotter for a sniper.

I feel comforted.

Trump calls for Iran's 'unconditional surrender,' calls Khamenei 'easy target'

President Donald Trump wrote a threatening post on his social media platform saying the U.S. knows where Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is hiding, calling him an "easy target" and calling for Iran's "unconditional surrender."

"We know exactly where the so-called 'Supreme Leader' is hiding," Trump wrote. "He is an easy target, but is safe there -- We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin."

That wasn’t mentioned in the piece I listened to and I don’t follow mainstream media for geopolitical news. They didn’t want them sharing to prevent the news getting out about the damages to the wider public (via social media) and the imagery would encourage them to leave. Haaretz was cited as the source for explaining their departures. They suggested that over 1.5 million people have left in the last two years and 2 million were trying to secure tickets recently. Israeli authorities have forbidden airlines from carrying their citizens and prevented them from going. Many are taking the ferry to Cyprus and others are getting out via Egypt and Jordan.

I haven’t listened to today’s reports as of yet. But I’ve often wondered who’d willingly live in a war zone if they were able to go elsewhere. I didn’t look up the article but the premise is pretty disturbing and it isn’t unheard of. That’s why it’s important to leave before things get heated and the majority wait too long. I’ve seen a lot of images and it’s bad. Israel has a lot of influence over our media. That’s why I look elsewhere. I don’t believe anything we say. There’s too many warmongers on capitol hill. They’ve wanted this for a while.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Tears Into ‘Propaganda’ From Fox News, New York Post: ‘American People Have Been Brainwashed’ into supporting war with Iran.

“We’ve watched for decades propaganda news,” said Greene on OAN’s The Matt Gaetz Show. “I’ll call out Fox News and the New York Post. They’re known to be the neocon network news. We have propaganda news on our side just like the left does and the American people have been brainwashed into believing that America has to engage in these foreign wars in order for us to survive, and it’s absolutely not true.”

She continued, “Prime Minister Netanyahu said – I saw a video – he said today that America First is ‘America dead,’ and that sounds like a threat to me, and I completely disagree with him on that. In order for America to not be dead, it’s to stay America First, and this is what the American people want. It is not antisemitic to say that we do not want to go to war against Iran or any other country. That is not antisemitic at all. It’s actually rational, it’s sane, and it’s loving to people all over the world. A Middle Eastern war will pull America back 20 years.”

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson also tore into the cable news network on Monday, accusing Fox of indoctrinating its “elderly” viewers with “propaganda” to drum up support for U.S. involvement in a war against Iran.
