Well, we've seen a barrage of assassinations and assassination attempts being committed by those on the left over the past 6 months or so. So I wouldn't act too surprised that people would assume this is more of the same.

Here's a link to a few of his sermons (Beolter sermons), others can be found on Youtube.

He's an Assemblies of God pastor, a strong anti-abortionist, and he killed two Democrat lawmakers and had a list that contained several more along with abortion providers. It was easy for me to come to the conclusion that he's a right-wing Christian extremist.

Never, that is their MO. They didn’t learn after the last election. No reason to believe they will ever learn.

Indeed, as I've said, there are nuts on both sides of the political spectrum. The hate speech is heavy in Minnesota, particularly with Walz. We don't know who the shooter is, but it's a good guess this was politically motivated. The violent rhetoric against conservatives resulted in the opposite effect.
