To be honest, it is not a surprise that Israel would attack Iran.
Besides, prophecies in the Old Testament always focused about repentance. That's why when people from Nineveh repented after Jonah told them the city would be destroyed, God decided not to go ahead with the prophesy.

All the saints and holy elders have emphasized repentance, stay close to the Church and God. Pray. It's actually important to know these things so that we prepare ourselves in working to be closer to God, continued prayers, and repentance.

We should pay little attention to prophecies, elders say a lot of things.

According to the Saints and Elders, we should be aware so that we repent and stay close to God and prepare for leaving this earth some day. And especially when we're in the middle of an unfolding (and one fulfilled so far) prophecy.

Well yes we still have free will. What I’m saying is hopefully there will be a steering away from these events due to softening of hearts or repentance (see Old Testament where repentance prevented destruction) etc. I don’t know but I try and hope.
