So we have ICE detaining people. As well as the police. Now it's extended to the National Guard. And, let's face it, no-one envisaged this...Marines with boots on the ground being told that they can do the same. And apart from a legal technicality, perhaps including being read your Miranda rights, is there really any difference?

We know he can't have troops shooting protestors in the legs. We know that he can't deport people without due process. We know that he can't deny citizenship to people born in the US. We don't need you to tell us what he can't do. We already know that. What we need from people like you is for you to make a stand and say he shouldn't do such things. That he shouldn't even be saying such things, let alone attempting them.

Then it looks like Trump’s deployment of the NG and Marines have served their intended purposes. They’re only good to serve as political props in a future campaign ad. That’s all that ultimately matters now.
