It's not normal policy for the United States to send illegal immigrants and people convicted of crimes regardless of their immigration status to foreign prisons.
The vast excess of illegal aliens we have along with all the deadly fentanyl they bring in and all the human trafficking they're doing isn't normal either.
The Constitution ensures no branch of the government has authority over the other. Giving the Director of Homeland Security, Secretary of Defense, or the Secretary of State more authority than judges is not how it works in this country and is un-American.
They're usually the ones who call the shots when the nation is experiencing danger from a foreign source.

So you believe these would be good enough reasons to abandon the Constitution?

The constitution makes provisions regarding a threat from a foreign source.
That's true, but the judiciary branch of our government ensures executive actions comply with the Constitution. You prefer that the Director of Homeland Security, Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of State have more authority than judges when it comes to immigration enforcement, which is un-Constitutional.

I don't know why. But but I do know from having watched the full incident, she wasn't shot in the back as many are saying, and her laughing about it and saying she was okay indicates that she wasn't harmed. Which means it wasn't anything serious.

They should be the ones in charge when the US is experiencing a threat from a foreign source, and there's a constitutional provision for that, which a few judges have been trying to override.

It's literally the job of judges to intepret the Constitution. In this case, it's quit obvious the protest in Los Angeles do not qualify as an "invasion" nor a "rebellion" nor "a type of rebellion" (as Trump put it). He had no legal authority to federalize the National Guard troops without the request of the state's Governor.

California officials will sue President Trump for taking control of the state’s National Guard and deploying troops to the streets of Los Angeles, a move they said escalated tensions in the nation’s second-largest city. The legal challenge, announced by Gov. Gavin Newsom, was expected to be filed on Monday morning...

There's not a constitutional provision that allows the executive branch to have authority over the judicial branch when the US is facing a threat from a foreign source, and there have been more than 70 judges appointed by presidents of both parties, including some appointed by Trump, that have ruled against his immigration policies.

What's taking place regarding the rioters posing a threat against government officers trying to stop them from carrying out their duty is an act of rebellion and insurrection.

The Alien Enemies Act grants the president of the United States sweeping powers to order the detention and deportation of foreign enemies.

You're welcome to your opinon. I predict the courts will rule otherwise.

True again, but the judicial branch oversees its constitutionality and application.

I'm not seeing that in the text of the act.
It doesn't have to be written in the text of the act, because the Constitution ensures it.

If that's not part of the act then it doesn't apply to the act.
I'm not aware of any act or law that states that the judicial branch oversees its constitutionality and application. If that were a requirement, then there would be no protection against the government abusing its power.

Huh?

The Alien Enemies Act grants the President the authority to detain or deport non-U.S. citizens. The act allows for the apprehension, restraint, and removal of alien enemies without a court hearing.
