They did find the crimes though, didn’t they? The fact is that a lot of America does not care that Trump is a convicted criminal. They went after Trump in search of a crime and the intent was to keep him from being elected. It didn't work. It won the primary for him and helped him get elected
Republicans uncover no new intel on Biden during hearing on his cognitive abilities in office
The probe didn't uncover any new information on the former president -- with Democratic members of the subcommittee boycotting the hearing.
Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer, who was among the witnesses, compared his time working under Trump in his first term to his observations of Biden, praising Trump's energy and mental focus. Spicer never worked for the Biden administration.
Next up for Sean, Dancing with the GOP's Star Witnesses
Yeah, it's easy to make bombastic statements like that, but can they back it up with actual evidence? Time will tell. Though, given how much evidence hearings such as this have compiled against President Biden up to this point, let's just say I hope they haven't got their hopes up too high."Today's hearing is about competency, corruption and cover up within the Biden administration. Simply put, the last administration was rudderless from one crisis to another. The Biden Administration failed and folded. The partisan media did their best to cover up those failures," --Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley
A rudderless ship usually leads to chaos, no discipline, and infighting. Did Chuck say this with a straight face?
I don't think Biden is the one they plan to prosecute.Yeah, it's easy to make bombastic statements like that, but can they back it up with actual evidence? Time will tell. -- A2SG, though, given that the SCOTUS has ruled that presidents are immune from prosecution for official acts, there doesn't seem to be much that can be done about it.....
Okay. They still need evidence, though.I don't think Biden is the one they plan to prosecute.
I thought they were looking for who was making the decisions behind the scene
The documents in question are the evidence.Okay. They still need evidence, though.
Nope. If you want to prove the autopen was used without authorization, you need to prove that, AND that some specific person (AKA the defendant) did it. Showing a jury a signed document doesn't prove anything. The documents in question are the evidence.
And the documents in question will be Exibit A.Nope. If you want to prove the autopen was used without authorization, you need to prove that, AND that some specific person (AKA the defendant) did it. Showing a jury a signed document doesn't prove anything.

Right he made the decisions which is why Nancy Pelosi made him resign his candidacy. Who was really making all of the decisions, running the country, and signing documents is a legitimate question that should be investigated. If it's proven to be untrue, than that question can be laid to rest. The more objection and pushback there is to it being investigated, the more suspicious it looks. But there's no exhibit B when the best the GOP can do is put Sean Spicer up as a witness to talk about how sharp Donald Trump is so the Congressman can all sycophantically agree with greater and greater force.
Meanwhile...
Democratic leaders wanted him to drop out because they thought he'd lose, not because they thought he was incapable of running the country.Right he made the decisions which is why Nancy Pelosi made him resign his candidacy. It just was by the Congress. What did they discover?Who was really making all of the decisions, running the country, and signing documents is a legitimate question that should be investigated.
He was incapable of getting through a debate without exposing how bad off he was,Democratic leaders wanted him to drop out because they thought he'd lose, not because they thought he was incapable of running the country.
What does that have to do with Biden documents? It just was by the Congress. What did they discover?
[Spicer praised] Trump's energy and mental focus
"[We're] fortunate enough to have a leader like President Trump, who is so unmistakably in command," Republican Sen. Eric Schmitt said.
That only happened after his performance or lack thereof during the debate, which pretty much obliterated any doubt regarding his cognitive abilities for many. And made all the claims about him being sharp as a tack appear to be a lie. It was a classic "the emperor has no clothes" situation.Democratic leaders wanted him to drop out because they thought he'd lose, not because they thought he was incapable of running the country.
