Does it apply to anyone here?
"Calling out" a member is an unsolicited comment about another member in reference to something they may have said, their personal beliefs, their signature, or their avatar (challenging the member in a negative manner). This applies to any thread, whether the called out member is participating in that thread or not. Do not quote, or make comments about another member, in your signature or user title.

Calling out members is against the rules.
You cant characterize another specific persons opinion here? I dont believe it. I do it all the time. Other people do it re my opinions. Its called "discussion".

Of course they want their hostages released--so do I! But I imagine that Hamas thinks they are the only bargaining chip they have, probably the only bargaining chip against complete obliteration in order to build a Trump Resort: "Bloodbath Beach!"
How are those "bargaining chips" working out for them?

While this terrorist attack was clearly an act of retribution against Israel, this terrorist wasn't trying to get the attention of Netanyahu. The general public and the United States government were his intended audience. He's hoping that his actions will lead to changes in US policy and support for Israel's war in Gaza.
I hope these attacks will make it clear that jihadists will not stop until every Jew and every American is dead. The U.S. must take a stronger stance against the jihadists.

It appears from the post that all the antisemitism is Netanyahu's fault.
There is definitely plenty of fault on the Palestinian's side. The trouble is, conservatives would have to engage with the real history of the region to discuss it meaningfully, and they can't do that.
As if everyone loved the Jews until he started bombing Gaza.
See what I mean?

Are these terrorists so overcome with grief and heartbreak that they would lash out indiscriminately at uninvolved people, aware that their actions will make things much worse for the suffering people in Gaza? It is tragically illogical.
Emotions play a big part, and the actions of terrorists are often counterproductive as a result of those misguided emotions. Unfortunately, many innocent people suffer as a result.

Of course not! They are all the fault of the children of Gaza, obvs.

It's rather like when Booth killed Lincoln, the only Northerner who wanted to "let 'em up easy."

I don't care if you believe it or not, it's not a line I'm willing to cross. Go ahead and tell me that's not what the rules say, and it's still not going to happen. No means no.

At this time it appears foreign nationalism (the Palestinian cause) rather than religion was the motive for this attack.

I am saying that there were virtually no anti-Semitic attacks or demonstrations in the United States
Virtually none lol? That is delusional. Most were under Biden. Liberal rhetoric by the likes of the "squad" does not help. Research has shown a rising level since the 2010s. According to the ADL, there were 8,873 antisemitic incidents across the United States in 2023, a 140% bump from the 3,698 incidents in 2022 and the highest since 1979. Compared to 2022, assaults, vandalism and harassment rose by 45%, 69% and 184% respectively in 2023. The ADL reported a 200% increase in antisemitic incidents from October 7, 2023, to September 24, 2024

They are learning you can't bargain with international war criminals, who should be brought to trial and convicted.

But MAGA policy is to frame it as religious war. and dissention from that policy constitutes anti-semitism.

Again, what's going on regarding the topic isn't limited to a few people this thread. It's amazing how often I have to explain that. Even worse is when someone actually thinks I'm talking about them personally.

I suggest you specify that then....otherwise, it's assumed you're refering to a post within this thread.

Maybe we should shift those FBI resources back to working on domestic terrorism.

I guess they're too busy arresting people appearing for their asylum hearings. Priorities.

Youre being absurd. You can talk about the things people say in the context of the discussion topic. Thats the whole point of the forum. Everyone here is doing it.
