I saw a short clip on social media yesterday about the wreckage being sifted through to find any human remains. They described the debris as "sludge" compacted into the nose cone of the submersible. They found the cuff of the sleeve of the captain's shirt and a pocket with some business cards, stickers and a pen that was completely undamaged, but no "organic" material.

Yikes.

As unappetizing as the aftermath is this was about as swift a death as is physically possible.

I think that came from the platform

but it does make me question whether that "bang" actually was the implosion. They seemed oblivious to it and I would think that the data they were looking at would have shown dramatic anomalies. I expected more of a befuddled reaction from the people and they didn't seem to notice anything except the "bang" and seemed to dismiss it.

I believe the platform tried the communication with the submersible. In which I would agree instantly perished with the bang. Hating it for all...
