11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”
Another mistranslation. Again, here is an accurate translation.

Revelation 14:11 YLT
and the smoke of their torment doth go up to ages of ages; and they have no rest day and night, who are bowing before the beast and his image, also if any doth receive the mark of his name.

If the Lake of Fire is a place of forever punishment then all of the verses in the OP are heresies.

Please go back and re-read the verses in the OP and then decide if they are heresies or if the doctrine that Jesus tortures people FOREVER is the actual heresy.

This seems to be the Korean Christian outlook that I see in their tv and movies that even punishment is only for as long a we ourselves dictate by way of the amount of or misdeeds.

All of the following parables are about how Jesus NEVER GIVES UP ON ANYBODY!

Luke 15
English Standard Version
The Parable of the Lost Sheep
15 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him. 2 And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.”

3 So he told them this parable: 4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ 7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

The Parable of the Lost Coin
8 “Or what woman, having ten silver coins,[a] if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’ 10 Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

The Parable of the Prodigal Son
11 And he said, “There was a man who had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of property that is coming to me.’ And he divided his property between them. 13 Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living. 14 And when he had spent everything, a severe famine arose in that country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs. 16 And he was longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him anything.

17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father's hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.”’ 20 And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’[c] 22 But the father said to his servants,[d] ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. 23 And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.

25 “Now his older son was in the field, and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 And he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and sound.’ 28 But he was angry and refused to go in. His father came out and entreated him, 29 but he answered his father, ‘Look, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed your command, yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours came, who has devoured your property with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him!’ 31 And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. 32 It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’”

The Lake of Fire can be considered punitive because we're told it's an unpleasant process but its purpose, ultimately, is for correction, refinement, and restoration.

The doctrine that Jesus mindlessly tortures people FOREVER and without purpose is a Satanic LIE injected into Christian theology.

Again, if Jesus does that then all of the verses in the OP along with others that I'm sharing here are ALL heresies.

He found the lost sheep but it is still up to the lost sheep to wake up and repent, so it will be less likely to wander off the path to the Kingdom again.

What does God want? He wants ALL things on Earth to be reconciled back to him. He wants ALL to be saved. Does God get what God wants? Of course! He told us so in Isaiah!

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

Isaiah 46:10
declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,'

Isaiah 55:11
so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

No. They're not "found" until they follow Jesus, which ALL eventually will do!

This all will be saved belief is the result of poor teaching. So many churches focus on sin and its consequences that they have lost or actually never were in the proper teachings.

Jesus took away the sin of the world for everyone believers and unbelievers. So sin is not the reason people go to the lake of fire after they have been judged at the great white throne judgment. Plus unbelievers do not go to the lake of fire to be punished for their sins as their sins have already been paid for and forgiven. So there is no sin that needs being punished for Jesus has paid for all sin.

People go to the lake of fire for one reason and one reason only they never believed in Jesus for The Life of God (Eternal Life). So without possessing The Life of God, people can not spend eternity with God unless they have God's Life. God has given people their earthly life to come to believe in Jesus, So they may receive God's free gift He is ready to give to anyone believing in Jesus with no strings attached.

So it is not about sin but about Life and whether a person leaves their earthly life with Life.

1 Corinthians 15:25 describes Jesus as waiting. Why is Jesus waiting? If Jesus just tosses beings into a forever "Hell", there would be no reason for Jesus to wait.

Jesus is waiting on the Father to grant repentance to the last holdouts in order that they will follow and serve Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:25
25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

When He hung out with the sinners, He found them, not the other way around. They still weren't saved until they repented. It's not a case of finders keepers, but He did give them a chance.

I do believe that the ability to understand and believe that Jesus will save ALL beings is knowledge that must be revealed to one by the Holy Spirit. Most will read all of these scriptures and deny them because they have been taught that Jesus hideously tortures people FOREVER. Remember, this world is ruled by Satan and his deception is effective even among Christians.

There is still that caveat. All must sooner or later accept Him alone as the ultimate power, authourity and wisdom. That includes certain leaders.

Do you doubt that God can persuade anybody to follow him?
