Since you are continuing these baseless claims, care to finally address posts 37 & 39 and explain how supposedly that example you posted shows NPR is biased? That was your claim, yet the article doesn't match the claims you are pushing.

Plus which....what does it matter if NPR is biased anyway? Freedom of the press means that a media outlet can express any point of view they wish to, without government interference. NPR is guaranteed that right by the Constitution, just as FoxNews or OAN are.

They were confused about free speech being restricted. As I explained, there is no attempt to restrict free speech. This is about taxpayers funding particular political ideologies, and I am totally against that. I don't think Americans should be forced in any way to support any political party.

Sure, some funding for public broadcasting goes to NPR, which does have a left-leaning viewpoint which is protected by the Constitution's guarantee of freedom of the press, but that's hardly the same as supporting a political party.

But, if you still disagree with the legislation that provides funds for public broadcasting, you're always perfectly free to contact your member of Congress and ask him or her to vote accordingly. That isn't a guarantee you'll get you wish, of course, but that's how a representative democracy works.

Democrats have a lot of money, they outspent Trump by more than 2 to 1, they claim NPR gets only a small percentage of their money from the government yet want to force all American taxpayers to support Democrat propaganda. There is nothing authoritarian in what you've described, even accounting for the hyperbole and scare tactics. Now, a president overstepping his authority and violating the constitution to punish a free press that is sometimes critical of him....that's the very definition of authoritarianism.

And even if he did...so what? Freedom of the press means they get to broadcast (or print, for the luddites out there) whatever they like. He is, of course, free to call their news reporting "propaganda" if he doesn't like what they're reporting, but media outlets still have the right to report the news as they see fit, free from government constraint.

After all, if reporting propaganda or even outright lies were illegal, there are other outlets who would be behind bars already.

Hardened gang members who have committed violent crimes are not political prisoners. Non-violent American citizens who are imprisoned for their political beliefs, whether they prayed or were just in the wrong place or because they supported Trump but are imprisoned are the real political prisoners. I just don't understand the affinity from the left to sympathize with human traffickers and wife beaters and violent gang members.

"Due process" is not defined, and there have been varied interpretations by the Supreme Court. In the past the courts have ruled illegals to not have the same "due process" as American citizens. Democrats brought our country to the brink of disaster by violating our border laws and swamping our country with over 10 million more illegals during the Biden regime. Likewise they cracked down on anyone who supported Trump or conservatism, the executive branch illegally interfered in our election process in an effort to see Joe was made president. Our Republic was approaching disaster. The gangs and cartels are extremely powerful due to the billions of dollars enriched by illegal Biden border policies. They will be extremely hard to eliminate. Cartel and gang members are NOT going to each be given long jury trials and multiple appeals. I believe Garcia, for example, has been before 14 judges. If the American Bar Association doesn't sanction judges who violate our Constitution then we will need a new association to hold judges to basic ethical standards.

I find it interesting that supporters of President Trump favor EO. Hence, when the next Democratic administration comes to power, Trump's supporters should have no issue accepting numerous executive orders by new Presidnet.
