I go by facts. Trump wants to cut the military by 90,000 members. Musk says our Air Force fleet should be replaced by drones. The remains of three fallen soldiers arrived at Dover AFB while he golfed and went to a million dollar a plate super pac dinner.

I have heard from many reluctant Trump voters who identify as Reagan conservatives have expressed that they might consider voting for a Democratic candidate if the party had a centrist figure similar to Clinton. Bill Clinton the pervert is the standard-bearer of the Democratic Party.

And the Evangelical Christians who were highly critical of Bill Clinton during his presidency. They emphasized the importance of character and the sanctity of marriage, arguing that America needed a leader with strong moral values, especially during the Monica Lewinsky scandal. By 2015, those same Evangelical Christians had shifted their views on the character and sanctity of marriage. They prioritized having a leader who is a fighter over one with strong moral values. Two divorces and three marriages, alongside allegations of sexual assault and inappropriate conduct towards women, these incidents have become distractions rather then moral character.

Today, “Bush the warmonger” appears to be more popular among Democrats and liberals than among those who voted for him twice. Rachel Maddow even described President Bush as possessing great qualities of empathy and fairness.

Sorry, I don't think most here speak Aramaic (the language Christ likely spoke). As such, I don't see why posters need to use the exact word some particular translation of the Bible uses, so long as they portray the meaning behind Christ's words.

I know the quote from Matthew just fine. Again, Christ spoke Aramaic, not English -- and to get to the English we are going through at least two translations (since they are written in Greek), so we aren't dealing with accuracy; there are no exact words.

Now, if the issue is that it is being applied to Republicans, then that has nothing to do with Christ and likely has more to do with a "plank" in the beholders eye. Ultimately the verse is about hypocrisy, and there are plenty of examples from both Republicans and Democrats. We need more cases where this is being called out on both sides.
