In most cases, presidential policy is the problem, but in Trump's case, since he is illegally and unconstitutionally enacting policies that only Congress can enact (if constitutional) he is the problem.
Th stock market collapsed because he defied the Constitution. He is solely to blame. DOGE is illegal. Deporting people without proof is illegal.
The fastest way to fix things is to have the courts uphold the Constitution and reverse the policies.

2.3 million Americans demonstrated yesterday. Including me.
Three elections on Tuesday showed his approval is in free fall even in his strongholds.
And so yes, he will destroy himself, but he was a tornado ripping apart our government and the damage 49.9% of Americans voted for will take years to recover from.

Elections have consequences. President Trump is fulfilling his promises to voters. While I don't agree with all his policies, he was elected by the American people and has the right to implement his agenda for the next four years, as long as he doesn't break any laws. Though I may disagree with his policies, I support his right to carry them out.
Apparently, the only one who is allowed to decide whether he is breaking any laws is himself.

He's claiming that because he thinks he can deceive Americans as he has been doing since 2016.
Do your research. There was no national emergency requiring him to crash markets and inspire our allies to form trade alliances against us.
There's a national emergency now, however, and Congress and the Courts need to set firm guardrail against this abuse of power.

There was a national emergency. There still is. The world is under an existential threat from the Woke Monster. Trashing the world economy is a relatively small amount of collateral damage considering the depth of leftist evil. MAGA!

I have no idea what the Woke Monster is. Is it acknowledging that humans of every race, religion, and sexual orientation has himan rights? Is it that climate change is real? Or that governments have a responsibility to keep our air and water clean for future generations?
When you don't have two nickels to rub together because of his policies he'll call you a loser, like the soldiers who died in Lithouania whose families he stood up for an Arab golf tournament.
You'll have a hard time convincing the Courts that a soaring economy that conquered inflation had an emergency.
His attempt to install himself as dictator is the energency--and he can't fix it.

The Woke Monster is a fearsome creature made entirely of alphabet letters; LGBT, CRT, DEI, DSA, AOC, GND, USAID...

Could it be you would rather address an alphabet soup of initials because many (if not most) involved with the Trump Administration have a sketchy or outright false idea of what they mean.

Critical race theory is a college level course that is not in use in public school curricula. Real history is not harmful--a false picture of history is. Yes, America practiced slavery. They drove Native Americans off their lands via the Trail of Tears. They treated Asian immigrants shamefully, even interning them in WWII. Racism--and xenophobia--continue to be a blot on our history, and both of those problems have been exacerbated recently.

Children do not obsess about what their great-great-great grandparents might have done in the nineteenth century. They can and should learn from their mistakes. In school they should be taught that mistakes are a natural part of every learning experience, and if they make us better people those mistakes are valuable.

Real history is more important than ever now, because our society is regressing. We have had political demagogues preach hate. We have Americans incensed with hatred of immigrants--even when they know them--as I do--to be the hardworking, reliable, honest churchgoers we would be proud to have as neighbors.

Our children are the leaders of the future. By turning to hate, America has made a big mistake, and we need to rely on them to correct it.

USAID has distributed food, medicine, and clean water to countries where annual family income might be what our young students' parents earn in a week. Just as they are taught to practice charity in Sunday school--participating in canned food drives, Christmas giving trees, etc.--they should be taught that, in gratitude for our abundance, we should reach out to the poorest of the poor. And the fact that it prevents terrorism is a truism that doesn't need to be addredsed.

Teens are at least three times as accepting of LGBT peers as we are. We don't have to tell them that they are "bad," "deluded," "mentally and spiritually ill." They should be teaching us to be more accepting of human differences.

Hope it is Vance running.
That's supposed to be one of the paths for Trump's third term - Vance wins then switches. I don't think for a minute that would happen as Vance has his own agenda well outside of Trump's.

Neither seem likely to win if voters are still allowed to vote freely. "And, Christians, get out and vote, just this one time. You won't have to to it any more. Four more years. You know what? It'll be fixed, it'll be fine, you won't have to vote anymore. My beautiful Christians, I love you."

I'm not a huge conspiracy theorist.

If you have actual proof I'll listen.

It’s funny Trump himself doesn’t seem to have the same confidence in Vance following him as some of his supporters do.

There was a law passed or at least proposedin some state, Florida, maybe? to outlaw "CRT" in schools. But it didn't say "CRT" right out. I guess even conservative state lawmakers have figured out that there is little or no CRT in the schools and it's not half of what they're after with respect to disemboweling history, anyway. Instead it prohibited the teaching of (and this is a near quote, I think, I'm to lazy to look it up) "any ideology which teaches that children should feel personally guilty for the misdeeds of their ancestors." I really had to laugh when I saw that. The only ideology that teaches any such a thing is the Christian religion.

Oh no. I don't think he has any regard for Vance and I doubt if he were to name a successor, that it would be him.

Knewz.com is reporting that the Democratic Party's favorability rating has dropped to 29% according to a recent CNN/SSRS poll, marking a significant decline from previous ratings of 47%. Former Clinton pollster Mark Penn recently revealed that the party has increasingly relied on left-wing figures, such as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), which he believes may hinder electoral success. Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) linked the party's decline to far-left policies.

I'd be more inclined to think that would more eager to get the US engaged in a conflict (internal OR external) thatis bad enough for him to "Feel the need" to declare Martial Law".

ROFL!

The party doesn't even HAVE any "far-left" politices!

All I see is that folks are upset that they aren't fighting HARDER against Trump. And considering the number of people protesting last weekend, certainly it makes MORE sense.

MANY people see a lot of the dems. as pretty much exactly like republicans.

Bernie and AOC are the exception. They are "Anti-establishment democrats" and on that, I'd think Republicans would LOVE them.

Another reason is because the GOP as a whole chooses to ignore their responsibilities.
They aren't just ignoring, they are abdicating their responsibilities, giving Trump full control. This is what puppet leaders do, they hold a position of power, but then then abdicate that power to someone else.
