It is not normal to include sources or methods in higher level briefings.

So given this latest kerfuffle, Trump boasting top secrets on more than one occasion putting assets at risk, his stealing and illegal retention of classified data, those Five Eye nations you can bet are questioning if it's safe to share anything with this administration. Or if they do share, think really hard how to go about it. They sure would take pause if that critical data to share regards Putin. In my mind, there is no doubt his election puts risk to our national security.

Another fine example where “America First” will really mean “America Alone”, nobody’s going to “share” Intel with us anymore.

Well, yes, but I addressed that in my initial post already:

The use of Signal doesn't really raise any security concerns for me (they use end-to-end encryption, and it's run by a US-based nonprofit). The main problems I have with this are data retention (because the messages are fully encrypted and tied to the accounts of the recipients, it would be relatively easy to destroy the records of anything sent through the app) and the fact that they were so easily able to add a non-government contact to a chat by accident.
