I personally don't think trans women should be allowed to compete in women's sports. But I also think that it should be up to the sporting bodies to decide and not the government.

I think children should be taught to be respectful of the various types of people found in society.
It is unfortunate that so much effort needs to be put into teaching tolerance, but there are certain demographics in society, usually the religious ones that teach intolerance and I think this warrants the effort to counter.

If there wasn't so much bigotry, then the tolerance wouldn't need to be taught.

Most people just don't want people with male genitalia in women's spaces.
At the hospital where I was head of security the women who worked there didn't want a cross dresser in the ladies rooms and they were all single occupancy.
People feel strongly about this.

I don't care about "what most people want". I care if there is a rational reason. I can certainly see the case for keeping trans out of sports or coming up with some conditions. I can also see the issue with locker rooms. What I don't see is people freaking out because someone might use a restroom.
