Far more cisgender men have assaulted men, women, boys, and girls in all manner of places - men's restrooms, women's restrooms, prisons, residential bathrooms, wooded areas, bedrooms, living rooms, offices, boardrooms, bars, restaurants, churches, and so on. And yet, legally restricting which bathrooms people can use based on their sex doesn't seem to have been a concern until around 2013 or so.

I don't frequent women's bathrooms, so I am only guessing here. But as far as I know, they don't have urinals in women's bathrooms.
I am confused as why women would be naked in the public areas of a woman's bathroom.
Mostly people are only naked in the privacy of their own toilet stall aren't they?

Or in USA are there not enclosed stalls, just a row of toilets all open for viewing?

Unless someone is exposing themselves in the common areas or someone is peeping into stalls, no genitalia is going to be visible.

Apparently someone dressed as a priest assaulted a girl in some woods just outside Springfield recently. The governor of Illinois now wants to bring in a law banning priests from parkland in the state. He said 'How many of these assaults have to happen before we take action.'

Nah, just made that up. But I'll bet some of you were thinking 'Whaaat?' But that's the mindset that some people have. These are the days in which we live. Some of the attitudes on display should either be ignored or ridiculed. Thing is is, when you have a family member that is trans and you know the problems that they went through, these attitudes aren't ridiculous. They are ugly. They make me depressed and angry. Which is not a good place to be...

Parents have reason to be concerned about leaving children with Priests but according to history they prefer boys.
Protestants have had their share of scandals with child molesters as well.
None of that has anything to do with men in women's bathrooms, which has little to do with the OP.
It was a woman, mistaken for a man, a cisgender, lesbian stud, not to be confused with a transgender woman
(And I'm not proposing any law. In fact there wasn't one to enforce in the OP, Indecent Exposure and Public Lewdness are already illegal if that happens)

Maybe we should tattoo a bar code on every kid when they are born and that will allow them access to a toilet just by swiping it on a reader as they go in. Coupled with some klaxons and a direct line to the police station if someone tries to cheat the system.

If you read the thread you would see that I've already posted that the police were in the wrong in this case, and if it was me I never would have went in the ladies room under those circumstances

That is all well and good, but it still leaves us with people who are overreacting. I have no stats to back this up but I'm guessing the heated rhetoric has some culpability.

Because men don’t belong in women’s restrooms, regardless.
